About this listing
Sedona Sacred Rocks is a destination for the spiritual pilgrim. We strive to provide a sanctuary for those seeking healing and to connect with nature. The adjacent 2000 acres of Coconino Nat'l Forest provide the perfect place for meditation.
We are committed to providing a comfortable, sacred place for relaxation, healing, meditation and connection to nature. Please note, with all three of our units, we require a full weekend reservation (must rent unit both Friday and Saturday nights) and we have a policy of no alcohol or drugs allowed on the property.
The Roost is a self-contained upstairs A-frame apartment with two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. To find it, once you park by the main entrance, go towards the front door by the water fountain, turn to your left and the Roost is at the top of the stairs.
The Roost features a minimal cooking kitchenette, quaint living room with a sofa bed which opens into a full sized hide-a-bed, a private bathroom with shower (there is another full bathroom with shower also available to you in the downstairs Temple Room), and a large viewing deck with amazing views overlooking the forest.
In keeping with the nature of the area, we have named each of the three living areas after the local winged-ones: "The Hawk" has a southwest styled California king-sized bed that can also be made into two twin-sized beds; "The Raven" has two comfy southwest styled twin beds which can also be made into a king-sized bed; "The Eagle's Nest," is a loft with two twin beds.
The kitchenette (NOT a meal cooking facility and is NOT a full kitchen. It is only suitable for snacks and reheating small meals/leftovers only) includes: a tea kettle with tea, a toaster oven, dinnerware, silverware, mugs and glasses, a coffee maker with coffee, creamer and sugar, a mini fridge (with super mini freezer), a hot plate, pots and pans, and instant oatmeal for breakfast. Clean well water from the tap to drink. Does NOT include a microwave (to keep emf's low). Also, all rentals have access to our outdoor five-burner Chargrill downstairs in the patio area. Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to use it so we can be sure its available. Thank you!
The unspoiled natural beauty of the Coconino National Forest, local wildlife and nature, our medicine wheel, tipi, stupa and awesome night-time star-gazing creates the perfect setting for a peaceful escape. Relax, unwind and tune-in to the magic of the land here amidst the high vibration energy of the red rocks and forestry of beautiful Sedona.
Your hostess, Meaghan, as a practicing medicine woman, offers her holistic healing methods to her guests including: Pranic Energy Healing, Reiki, Sacred Ceremonies, Horse Divination and Healing, intuitive readings, spiritual counseling and more. She and her partner, Rick, also teach horsemanship and riding lessons on our gentle horses here on the property. Please give Sedona Sacred Rocks a call for further info, or check out sedonasacredrocks, and reserve a time especially for you or your family if you are interested in booking any of these services during your stay. Also note: contact us to be certain that there are appointment times available BEFORE you book your room/vacation with us if you'd like to schedule any healing sessions, ceremonies or riding lessons during your stay as spaces are limited. (Please also understand you are certainly more than welcome to book your vacation with us if you are NOT interested in any extra services, as we warmly welcome everyone.)
Also, check out our medicine bags, jewelry, crystals and hand-made crafts available in the Temple Room store hand made by Meaghan her friends, Rebekah and Valerie.
We also love to share our outdoor spaces: relax and watch the sunset by the koi pond; tune in to the nature around you on the meditation path; share ceremonial drumming or quiet time in our tipi; walk the medicine wheel or put prayers in the stupa; pet our friendly four legged friends, the dogs Meli and Francis, and the horses Magi, Brogan, Kosmo, and Cece, also our kitty, Yin.
We have a variety of comfortable rooms and rates available. See our other accommodations here on Airbnb by going to our profile: “The Mountain Lion" and "The Deer Suite".
Miles upon miles for hiking and admiring Sedona's natural, stunning beauty. Please note: there are no trails per say out our back door but we enjoy going out in the forest to walk the dry creek area. The closest trails are about a 7 minute car ride to Red Rock State Park and Red Rock Crossing.

Our absolute favorite neighbors are the coyote, deer, rabbits, javalina, roadrunners, hawk, hummingbirds, bluejays, and the occasional lynx and mountain lions. Please respect the naturalness of the area by staying on designated trails and be aware that there are snakes and scorpions in the desert.
