Our bright guest cottage is perfect for 2 couples or family/friends of 5. The property, built in 1921, is breezy and relaxed. It's full of old Oak & Olive trees, overlooks the one acre plus a seasonal creek!
Full kitchen, 3b 1 1/2 ba. Come stay!!!
Awww, Sonoma, beauty surrounds us...all within 5-10 minutes of your sweet Vintage Cottage. Once you open the privacy gates, you will see the Vintage Cottage on your left. It is completely separate from the Vintage Bungalow for two and studio with it's own private deck & yard, the bistro table on the deck look out and above the seasonal creek and oak trees. The entire property is fenced and great for dogs.
As a former French Antique importer, we've filled the interior with a modern mix of french antiques that will make your stay unique, comfy and airy. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable, beauty rest queen mattress. The second bedroom has a comfy, memory foam mattress with lots of nice morning sun. Both have down comforters, extra pillows and blankets. If traveling with a child or extra friend, we can provide extra bedding and a french daybed upon request.
Full kitchen, fridge, gas stove, fully stocked with appliances so you can make your own meals and enjoy eating and sipping in our inviting, spacious backyard.
We have a lovely outdoor area set up just for you or if you'd like to sit under the big oak tree, Willy, walk over the foot bridge and to the right is a picnic and bistro table up on the hill and is accessible for all guests.

If you want to cook farm fresh, we have a farmer's market on Tuesday mornings at Sonoma Square or Friday mornings at the railroad depot...the best in the Valley of the Moon! Or go to Oak Hill Farms big red barn, 5 minutes away! We also have Sonoma Market, Safeway and Whole Foods off the Sonoma Square.
Now...about our local vineyards, all within minutes of your Vintage Bungalow...
Gloria Ferrer, Viansa, Jacuzzi, BR Cohen, Buena Vista, Kenwood, Chateau St. Jean, Landmark, Domaine Chandon Tattinger, Sebastiani, Valley of the Moon, Mayo...it's amazing how much is right at your fingertips! I may run out of space! As you travel though out Sonoma County, you'll also realize how close we are to Bodega Bay, Tomales Bay...think Hog Island and Nick's Cove for bay oysters! Sebastopol, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Russian River and yes, Napa is our neighbor too, all of this is within minutes of our location.
There are two major airports, SFO & Oakland that you most likely be flying into. Sonoma is a smaller community and renting a car, limo service or driving your own is the most accessible way here. Once you've arrived there are many bike rental shops, even a vespa rental shop if you'd like!
Other Things to Note
Other Things to Note
***Like many wineries and spas, traffic can be busy and noisy. Please drive safely when you come to stay with us. Use your signal, slow down well before turning right, pull up closely to the gate marked with our address (just past the big palm tree). The privacy gate has a pull in the center, on the left. Lift up and push open from the center, repeat with right gate. Pull straight ahead and closely to the large redwood planter. There is a turn around just past the Bungalow and barn. Please do not back out onto the street. Whenever entering or exiting, please close privacy gates behind you. Thanks!
As stated above, there is an assigned parking space for you directly next to your Cottage, we also have additional but limited offstreet guest parking if you'd like to entertain, please inquire.
If you would like to bring your dog, a $45 pet cleaning fee is required, left by either check or cash with us. It is completely fenced but please do not allow them to wander unsupervised.
*Please be kind and respectful regarding noise to your neighbors to the south and next door at the Bungalow.
*Please be sure to dispose of sanitary products in the waste basket as well as large food products or grease from cooking. We have sensitive plumbing here. Much appreciated!
*Dogs must be picked up after and there is a gray trash can on the west end of the property to dispose.
*Please, doing your own dishes keeps the cleaning fee low, :).
*Please take recyclables and trash to the west end of the property, gray bin is trash, blue bin
is recycling, Thanks so much!
*Though we do provide washer and dryer & dishwasher , remember WATER CONSERVATION, there is a water saving tab on the kitchen faucet, use correct settings for w/d, flush when you need to otherwise let it mellow.
*Dishwashing pods are provided, please start the load upon your departure. :)
*Only verified guests may stay at the cottage, please note all guests that will be staying with you.
*smoking outside only is allowed, please use/clean ashtray under the sink.
We are here for you anytime you have a question!
Pm was wonderful. Her dog Heywood greeted us and we didn't want to leave. The house couldn't have been more practical or cozy. The decor and the yard were masterpieces in themselves. My family and I look forward to visiting here again for a longer stay.
Our stay at Pamela's was quite comfortable. The beds were cozy, as were the rest of the furnishings. It was a real plus to have a washer and dryer. It was reasonably close to the center of town. I'd say about a six minute drive.
The cottage was a perfect home base for our wine country exploration. There was plenty of elbow room for two couples and a couple of yoga mats! The cottage was well appointed and Pamela couldn't have been nicer. Thanks for such a great experience!
Pamela and her wonderful pup were the perfect hosts - the cottage more than met my expectations - comfortably furnished with style, roomy with great beds - quiet with access to a large yard with seating.
I highly recommend it
The most cozy and comfortable home away from home, with everything you need! Palema is so welcoming and felt more like a friend then a host. It was only a few minutes from downtown Sonoma and is perfect for a girls weekend or a family trip. We couldn't have asked for anything more and we will definitely be coming back in the future!
This cottage in Sonoma was really beautiful. Set in large grounds with another smaller cottage next door and the owner's house at the back. There is a small creek running through with a small bridge over it leading to a large area of grass with trees. The cottage itself is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We were so cozy that we decided to stay home the first morning we were there to enjoy our surroundings. Pam was a perfect host and our son loved playing with her friendly dog.
Our family had an excellent experience at the Sonoma Vintage Guest Cottage from the original booking, to the great directions (including being greeted by Haywood, the friendly host dog) to Pamela herself.
This is a lovely cottage, well furnished and very comfortable with a beautiful, large backyard behind it.
Great value, great location, would recommend it

Hello, I'm Pamela, your hostess and Haywood, the friendly puppy in the photo. Like you, I love to travel as well...airbnb is great! We love living in the Bay Area, and after spending many years in San Francisco and traveling for work often to France, the move here makes it that much sweeter. I enjoy the wineries, of course, so many amazing and endless vineyards to explore. Cycling, hiking, and well, shopping are some of my favorite things to do here. Ok, I LOVE SPAS too. Oh, the FOOD...everything is so farm fresh! I've worked in the home & design industry for many years and there are amazing shops that shouldn't be missed...I may have to open a tour group! I Love living here and look forward to sharing our little haven and the Wine Country experience.
