Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Our family of five, and my mother, stayed the week in the apartment. It was spacious for a NYC apartment, with plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The location was superb, just two blocks from the Barclay Center, and the Atlantic Ave. subway stop, a major hub for getting into and out of Brooklyn. Even at rush hour, we had no problem getting a train uptown. There are numerous (and very delicious) restaurants nearby, as well (email hidden) supermarket and Target. I don't think we could have asked for a better place to stay. Tanya and Erika were understanding and helpful, and the entire rental process was extremely easy. We highly, highly recommend these hosts!

  • Very well located flat. Very comfortable and convenient with subway stations and super market and restaurants really close.
Erika is a very nice and reactive host

  • Erika and Tanya were so accommodating with my schedule to get the keys. It was clean, empty of their personal stuff and roomy. A great value on AirBnB especially in NYC!

  • Meeting Erika and staying in her place are what I love about the Air bnb experience. It feels so much more personal than staying in a hotel and gives you the feeling of being part of the community .
The apartment is in a great location convenient to the subway and lots of shops, including a great bagel place right on the corner.
The amenities were perfect for what we needed for a long weekend stay to attend our daughter's wedding: comfortable and clean with necessary items such as iron, hairdryer and, as it was during the Olympics, a great selection of cable stations!
I would definitely recommend this spot and hope to be able to visit again.

  • Tania & Erika's 2 Bedroom It is a very good apartment, comfortable and in a very convenient location.

We are a family of four with young kids, and the apartment was great for us. It is well equipped, around the corner to every subway line (Atlantic and Lafayette stations) that you may need to get anywhere in Manhattan, and with two supermarkets within a 100mts walk. There are also several good places to eat in the neighborhood, although we made our own dinner most of the time. The neighborhood looks very safe.

Regarding the apartment, its well equipped for a family of four or more. Very good luminosity with views both of the street (usually very quiet) and the back yards of the brownstone houses block. We stayed during a very cold period in February and the apartment was always well heated and with plenty of hot water.

During our two week stay in February we had a couple of minor issues with the apartment that were promptly solved by Erika and Antony (building manager). They were always very responsive and considerate, and made sure that everything were perfect with our stay.

We enjoyed staying on Tania & Erika's apartment. Highly recommended.

  • A great, well equipped 2 bed apartment in a safe area, and very close to a variety of shops and good restaurants. Also within a 100 metres of the Atlantic Av / Barclay Centre subway station, which from here you can be in Downtown Manhattan in 15/20 minutes. Great apartment, nice area, good value and in the perfect position to explore New York ... recommended

  • We enjoyed staying at Tanya and Erika's apartment in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. As many others have noted, the location is ideal - just a very short walk to all subways, BAM and quite an array of interesting restaurants. Also, Erika is extremely responsive, and all issues of check in, a stove that wouldn't light, a TV that had no sound - all these were quickly resolved with a team of local helpers, even though Erika was out of town. We were quite comfortable there although it was very cold outside - the heat was not adjustable but we were always comfortable, which has not always been the case in older apartments. There was plenty of hot water too. The only down side for us was the difficulty of finding parking on the street (very competitive) and the fact that the apt could use some refurbishing. It is clean, though.

  • Had a wonderful stay in this Fort Greene apartment. Very convenient to subway stops as we made our way to Manhattan and other areas of Brooklyn during our weekend. Lovely restaurants, shopping and BAM practically right around the corner! The two bedrooms suited the three of us perfectly and everything was comfy and clean. Erika-our host and Joe -the house cleaner were accommodating and checked in to make sure we were happy. Would definitely stay here again!

  • This was such a great stay for my family. The apartment was very nice and I feel like everything in the description that Tanya and Erika put up accurate which I really appreciate. Tanya was so friendly and welcoming when I met her and kept in contact with me throughout the stay.

Highly recommended but only if you are a thoughtful guest looking for a clean apartment in an ideal location with a courteous host.
