Amazing location in the Inner Sunset district close to great shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, UCSF, Golden Gate Park and terrific transportation! The N Judah is 1/2 block away going to the beach or downtown, just a few blocks walk are the various bus lines taking you all over the city: 28 (to the Golden Gate Bridge), (phone number hidden) and more!
The room has a comfortable Queen size bed with fresh linens, walk in closet, large TV with cable, WiFi, desk and dresser,,,just across the hall, a bathroom with full bath, shower and good storage for personal items. The kitchen is fully stocked and available for guests to use to make their stay feel as comfortable and at home as possible.
Come experience San Francisco with a great hostess in a private and comfortable home setting. You will feel most welcome!
No smoking or parties. Home is a quiet and calm environment. Please check with host for check in policy. There may be a price fluctuation on security deposit if stay is extended
FYI-There is one very old cat that sleeps most of the day and stays out of the common areas.
Patricia is a kind and generous hostess. She warmly introduce me to know the good restaurant nearby, and kindly afford stuff I need. The room is spacious and tidy with a huge TV. Next time I visit SF, I would like to stay in the same place.
Patricia was nothing but pleasant and warm during my trip. I had told her I am a night shift nurse, and would be very low maintenence as a guest. On my arrival she was apologetic that she had nothing for me to eat in the house! I assured her this wasn't expected or needed but her concern and worry made me feel welcome.
I am a very hard sleeper, and still bring an eye mask and ear plugs as a back up. There were 3 days here that I was woken up in the middle of my sleep, even with these fail-proofs in place. One was because of music/dancing in the living room and the other was just loud socializing in the kitchen, right next to my room. Third was Leslie blow drying her hair 3 hours after her listed shower time... That was a BIG negative, but only if you sleep during the day.
Hot water can run out if 2 people shower close together in time, so they list their sower times. That was a nice gesture, but the person I shared a bathroom with NEVER ONCE showered at her listed time...
Finally, Patricia has a roommate Leslie. I was not made to feel welcomed by this roommate, or by her presence in the house. For example, shelves were name-labeled for food in the fridge, on the counter and kitchen cabinets; and after a note was left for me for using the "wrong" bathroom sink on 2 seperate occasions, I know that I could never feel comfortable as a guest trying to actualy live in their home, ie: wouldn't feel comfortable to get my own purchased food from off of my shelf and prepare it, for fear I might use the wrong dishes, etc. So this was also a draw back.
Again, Patricia was nothing but nice, and curious about my life and we had good conversation. I would recommend this house to an adult guest, working days who is very laid back. The location was amazing--close to restaurants and Judah--and that was one of my favorite things about the place.
I have been here for 3 weeks and I confirm this is a good place to stay. Patricia is a very kind host and she really made me feel like at home. The location is great, close to Muni (N), many different restaurants and of course the Golden Gate Park, in a quiet, familiar and safe neighborhood. I had a great stay , Thank you Patricia!
Patricia was very welcoming. The space was clean and accommodating. And the location was fantastic: right in the heart of the Inner Sunset-- with tons of food and shopping within walking distance. It was also nice to be able to walk to the park.
Everything was as described and Patricia is a very welcoming host.
I’ve really likes that neighborhood. Although it is foggy, it’s just a few blocks away from Golden Gate Park, there are nice and affordable restaurants in the area, and the N muni line is just around the corner.
The room was as advertised. Patricia was a great host and was very accommodating, even waking up early to let me check in at 6AM. The location is great: it's right next to a MUNI stop and close to several restaurants, grocery stores, and a gym. The neighborhood itself is also quite nice. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Nephew Christian, an engineering student from Germany, was traveling to San Francisco for the first time and was in need of a place to stay. I turned to Airbnb, and came upon Patricia's listing, after having dismissed the other offerings. I explained to Patricia that I was making the reservation for my nephew, and was a little concerned about him. She assured me would take good care of him, and she did.
Christian was SO enthusiastic about his lodging at Patricia's, right down to the big screen television and his use of her lovely kitchen. He was also thrilled to learn that she ran a school for Irish dance.
Patricia provided a wonderful place for him to stay, in a very safe neighborhood, and he was just thrilled with his experience. The best thing was that his mother in Germany was assured Christian was in good hands and tended not to worry!

I like to make a guest feel as "at home" as possible. If I have food or a beverage to share, I enjoy providing it to my guest. I, also, believe guests need privacy, quiet and a calm atmosphere to enjoy their holiday or work environment. I am clean and neat and have an upbeat personality. It is my goal to have each guest leave with a positive experience!
