About this listing
Terra Nova de Corazón is a 3 acre/1 hectare orchard with dozens of mature fruit trees: papaya (the size of footballs), banana, plantain, pear, mango, guava, Chinese plum, apple, avocado, pineapple, cheremoya, cherry, grapefruit/pomelo, orange, mandarin, fig, tree raspberry, lemon, sweet lime, coconut, grenadine, grape, (and the more exotic) guanabana, giant matapalo, mamey, toronja, caimito, pitajaya, vinus, chaya, aracha, achote, etc. & even aloe vera, chile, herbs, sugar cane, yucca, cacao & bamboo! Also, trees for wood: Balsa, rubber, tagua, cedar, guayacan, caoba. All of the fruits are yours for the pickin' while you stay!
Manglaralto is a tiny town just south of the bustling surf town of Montañita. Terra Nova is just 4km from the main road & the beautiful beach. A great place to be able to easily access Montañita & the ocean, without all the noise. You can hire a driver from town to the orchard for under $2.
To be clear, this is not a furnished place yet. It is more akin to camping, with access to a simple kitchen (gas burner, fridge), bathroom & shower. You can either bring tents, hang hammocks, or sleep on the floor in the white building. Like I said, "more akin to camping."
Taxis and buses are $.50 - $3 to get around the area.
No rules. Go crazy!
The Place was exactly as described, a huge and beautiful fruit plantation, 10 Car Minutes away from montanita. Perfect for People who like it calm and simple, and there are no neighbors at all.

About the Host, Chimney
I am a working actress in Los Angeles, finding windows of opportunity for travel between gigs. Because I can not travel as often as I like, I invite the world into my home! I am a full-service hostess: from offering you a cup of tea in the morning, to suggesting fun, unusual things to do, and helping you find your way around this incredible city.
I am from Minneapolis, and am a dual US/Irish citizen, since my family is from Ireland. I speak some French and a tiny bit of Spanish - working on improving both! I am vegetarian, but I do not mind what you prepare/eat in my home.
My cat, Chimney Sweep, is the greatest. Even people who do not like cats seem to love her.
