About this listing
We are located in the beautiful Mare Island in Vallejo, CA. This safe and quiet neighborhood is about 20 minutes from the Wine Country (Napa/Sonoma) and 40 minutes from SF. We have two guest bedrooms, 3 beds, and can accommodate up to four people.
This listing is unique because the neighborhood is just gorgeous and peaceful.
We offer one full bed, one futon, and one air bed.
In addition, we are located close to Napa, several golf courses, Six Flags, several Outlets, Sonoma (Sears Point) Race Track, and San Francisco. A truly sweet location.
We also have plenty of free street parking!
Guests have access to the private bedrooms, bathroom, half bath, kitchen, living room, laundry area, and garage (where we keep the bicycles, elliptical, yoga mat, weights, etc). In sum, pretty much the whole house. We also have a grill outside and guests can barbecue - if desired.
If we are receiving more than 2 guests, the additional guests (up to 2 more, total of 4 people) can use a second guest bedroom which has a futon (as pictured) and an optional airbed.

I'm Brazilian, pretty easygoing and will do my best to have our guests feel welcome. I just graduated with a Sociology major, and Global Poverty and Practice minor at UC Berkeley. I am now a Master's candidate in Sociology at Sacramento State University.
George is a techy and works at a local hospital. He's very shy and an amazing person.
It may be biased of me, but my hometown (Florianopolis) is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I certainly recommend a trip there.
Five things that I cannot live without are my books, leave-in conditioner, sunscreen, work, and going to church (not exactly in this order).
Here are a few other things that I recommend:
BOOKS: "100 Years Of Solitude", and "Slavery by Another Name"
MOVIES: "District 9", and "Miss Ever's Boys"
TV SHOWS: "The Big Bang Theory", and "The X Files"
MUSIC: "Amy Winehouse" and "Sarah Vaughn"
FOOD: Indian, Mexican, and Thai - yum!
Having me as host means that you have someone you can count on. I will make sure that you feel as comfortable in our home as if you were in your own.
I don't have a set life motto but I am a firm believer of doing what's right.
As Dr. King once said, "I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear."

Enjoy your trip!
