Welcome to your home in Barranco, Lima!
The house is located in Lima's artistic neighborhood, closeby modern art galleries, museums and plenty of good restaurants and bars. You will have your private room in our comfortable & characteristic place!
Your room has 2 single beds, which can be put together, making a double queen size bed. We'll provide linens, extra blankets during winter season (it can get pretty cold here in Lima every now and then!), towels and soap.
We have only one bathroom in the house, so you'll need to share with us.
KITCHEN & BREAKFAST
There are a variety of fruit and fresh fruit juice available for everybody staying with us! You're of course welcome to use the kitchen for cooking or to prepare coffee/tea. One shelf in the fridge is reserved for your groceries.
Our personal favorite space of the house is the rooftop terrace, which has a grill area & big table on which we'll be serving Peruvian style dinners in the near future - stay tuned!
The terrace can of course be used by anybody staying at our place.
There is a washer available on the rooftop terrace. We'll provide you with soap.

Tess and Antonio's place is awesome. The hosts are great. The neighborhood is an awesome, artsy and bohemian. Great restaurants and a perfect first experience in South America.
My first experience using airbnb could've not been better. I loved my stay with Tess and Antonio, they were always super nice and helpful with everything I needed! After three days I was actually sad I had to leave. And the location is just perfect, I would recommend anyone to choose Barranco over Miraflores, the area's vibe is just so laid back and pretty amazing. Loved it!
Tess and Antonio are incredible hosts. We loved staying in their beautiful home, which is located in a very quaint and safe neighbourhood. The place is exactly how you see it and you have access to everything (the rooftop is amazing!!).
They were very helpful with transportation advice, arranging airport taxis, recommending restaurants and sites to visit, and they were a pleasure to converse with over a dinner a couple times. We felt very comfortable because they were friendly and welcoming while still allowing us to have our privacy. Would love to visit Lima again and stay with them!
The best !!! I really felt like home everything was perfect!!! Tess and Antonio are just beautiful people!!
Tess and Antonio were wonderful hosts! Their home is cozy and relaxing. They were there for us but still gave us space. By the end of the trip, we all felt like friends and we were sad to leave them. Tess even gave us a map of places to go in our next stop, Miraflores. I would stay with them again anytime.
Muchas Gracias Tess and Antonio! This was an incredible Airbnb experience. Lovely apt in the beautiful coastal neighborhood of Barranco. So helpful and accommodating. I only wish I had more time there! Five stars. :-)
I really felt welcome at Tess' and Antonio's place. Before i arrived, Tess helped me with all my questions concerning the airport transfer and everything else. The house is in a really nice and safe neighborhood full of tiny cafes, bars and restaurant. The room was clean and cosy. Tess gave me a lot of good ideas where to go to. I can absolutely recommend staying at her place, it was very familiar and I will come back when I'm searching for a stay in Lima once again.
After living respectively two and three years in Buenos Aires we decided that the time had come to go out there, living in various cities throughout South America to find a ‘new place called home’. The selection process was not an easy one! We picked 5 cities – Florianopolis, Salvador de Bahia, Lima, Medellin and Bogota – and will be living in all of them in between 4 and 6 weeks.
We’re curious about new places, local people and food fanatics! And will do everything possible to experience all of the selected South American cities as a local by living in normal bairros or barrio’s (Portuguese and Spanish) and eating in every small but oh so local cantina!
The journey has ended for now and we're currently calling Lima our home. You're more than welcome to come and stay with us!
