This place is absolutely ADORABLE, and April & Ken were great from the get-go. Booking was a breeze, April answered all my questions, and left detailed instructions for check-in. When we arrived, we found a cute little note welcoming us, along with great information about New Orleans, local hot spots, and cab information (SUPER helpful!). The place was charming, cute, and very well kept...we never ended up using the bikes we were offered, but it was nice to know we could if we wanted too. Overall, April & Ken were great hosts who really delivered!
We were excited to find such a private, quiet and well located place to stay for a wedding weekend. Thanks to Ken and April for a fun and comfortable experience and for the great tips.
Warm, well lit, though outside of the French Quarter this private cottage was a perfect place for us (3 people) to easily get in and out of downtown and also have space to spread out and relax. I met Ken on the trip and really enjoyed his thoughts on the neighborhood and breakfast recommendations were all solid. Almost every cab driver warned against walking into town, but I jogged the Treme and strolled the area (during the morning) and had no issues. Would definitely stay there again!
Our time at April and Kens was fantastic. Their newly renovated guest house was really great with more than everything we needed. A short walk to all of the best areas and streets New Orleans has to offer. Their suggestions were all fantastic too and we enjoyed going to the less touristy areas they suggested. April was very easy to communicate with the entire time. We loved New Orleans and we would love to come back and stay in April and Kens guest house again.
Our stay was wonderful. April and Ken were hospitable. The place looked the same as the pictures posted. The rooms were clean with eye-catching artwork and designs. We walked to the French Quarter during the day and took a taxi at night (do not walk back at night!). We would definitely recommend this place!
April and Ken's place is clean, quiet, safe and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay in December, and got a chance meet Ken. The couple was very helpful, and answered all of our questions almost immediately. We highly recommend this place if you decide to check out New Orleans (really awesome by the way). Thanks again!
This apartment was simply perfect. The place was super clean and very accomodating. The area is close to everything and April and Ken were wonderful hosts. We look forward to visiting again.

We are a recently married, young professional couple who now considers NOLA our heart and our home! We both are transplants and absolutely love everything about the Big Easy! We live on the historic Esplanade Ave, but love every single part of this city, from Uptown to the Marigny! We can give you great advice on where to site see, shop, bar-hop, find great eats, or guide you to hidden jewels off the beaten path for some extra local flavor! Our dream vacation begins in Greece and ends in Vanuatu...
