April & Ken's apartment was brilliant, really spacious and very clean and modern had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't get to meet April, but Ken is such a nice bloke, he was willing to spend time with us when we bumped into him to tell us places to go eat and drink. Location was good, short bus ride to bourbon and Frenchman. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely little house, absolutely beautifully finished and April and ken are great hosts. This is also a really good value for money option - with bikes including you're saving around $27 per person per day in bike rentals. Seeing the city on bikes is great fun and it takes about 10 minutes to the french quarter or $7 in a cab at night. Couldn't recommend more, thanks for a great trip
We had the most incredible time during our visit! Our hosts were so helpful and sweet. I am convinced we could not have found a better spot to stay in New Orleans. Such a perfect spot! We look forward to visiting again!
April and Ken's guesthouse is perfect for a New Orleans weekend. The guesthouse is perfectly decorated with original paintings, bright colored walls and unique fixtures. We loved the private pool with a guardian lion who let us know not to "dive in the hot tub." We also loved the bikes that we were available to use to explored the neighborhood.
We absolutely loved our stay at April and Ken's self-contained unit. Arrival was smooth and April was very accommodating at allowing us to store our bags in the main house prior to check in. April and Ken were both very friendly and we very much appreciated the list of recommendations for New Orleans. The unit had everything we needed - including a fully equipped kitchen which we made good use of (travelling for 5weeks it was nice to cook!). It was comfortable and private, and a little 'home away from home'. It is also conveniently located - about a 30minute walk to the French quarter, and a couple of bus stops nearby. We preferred to taxi however, as it was so hot and humid to be walking too far while we were there (cost only about $7 to taxi for 2 of us to the french quarter). Would definitely recommend to others, and would book again if we return to New Orleans - thanks April and Ken :)
Dear April & Ken,
We loved staying at your beautiful place and we thank you for your prompt attention and kindness. Everything was fantastic! Hope to see you again someday. Take care.
This was our first airbnb experience and it couldn't have been any better! April and Ken were wonderful hosts. They were so friendly and their recommendations for things to do and places to eat in NOLA were spot on! Their guest house was super clean and very comfortable. The location is great, far enough away to be quiet but within walking distance to the French quarter. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us when we checked in! The kitchen was stocked with coffee, sugar, spices and condiments. That was super convenient when we decided to stay in one night and cook a meal. Having the washer and dryer was also very helpful (we had driven from Massachusetts) If we're ever in New Orleans again we would love to stay with April and Ken.

We are a recently married, young professional couple who now considers NOLA our heart and our home! We both are transplants and absolutely love everything about the Big Easy! We live on the historic Esplanade Ave, but love every single part of this city, from Uptown to the Marigny! We can give you great advice on where to site see, shop, bar-hop, find great eats, or guide you to hidden jewels off the beaten path for some extra local flavor! Our dream vacation begins in Greece and ends in Vanuatu...
