Our stay was very comfortable, especially given the very central location. The place was as described: spacious bedroom with King sized bedroom and bathroom, good sized sofa bed, and small but workable kitchen. It is on the 3rd floor accessed via quite narrow and steep steps, so bear this in mind if you have accessibility issues or a lot of luggage! We had a toddler with us, and the place is very child-friendly (provided you can handle the stairs).
The neighbourhood is right by the Spanish Steps, so quite touristy, but this is a good thing if you want to see all the sights in Rome. It's in a fairly quiet part of the area, so it wasn't too noisy at night, especially if you keep the windows shut. There is some noise throughout the day, but it is not intrusive.
We did not meet Frederico, but Laura, who checked us in, was very helpful and friendly, showing us how everything worked, provided good visit tips, and helped us with our bags.
Federico apartment was great! Good location, nice and clean, exactly as you see in the pictures. The AC was working great and so does the hot water in the shower. The communication with Federico was great as well, Federico responded very quickly to our emails and helped us with all we needed.
For us, a couple with a baby climbing the steps with the baby stroller was a bit exhausting at the end of the day - but overall I would definitely recommend this apartment.
Central location and very touristy. Easy walk to the main sites but not so many places to buy groceries or not so touristy restaurants.
It was a great stay in Rome. We loved the apartment, the location, the ambiance. It was beautiful.
Awesome location and great apartment! A little bit difficult to use as an apartment as there was no book telling you how to use anything ... There was barely any utensils and things which also was problematic! The owner was very responsive to any questions we had an was prompt getting people to help us however was a bit complicated and stressful figuring it all out! In the end we would definitely stay there again!
We have been staying in this apartment for 8 nights on Christmas Holidays and it absolutely made our visit to Rome!
Rooms are looking the same as on the photographs. The flat is clean, not very big, but comfortable to stay up to 3-4 people. One of the biggest benefits is the accomodation, the area is full of shops, restaurants and small cafes, supermarket is available 5 minutes on foot. The majority of attractios are on the walking distance or you can reach it by taxi/metro. Taxi and metro stations both are quite close to the apartment.
Notwithstanding the fact that apartment itself was great we had some problems with facilities. Heating and hot water was broken at the first day of the stay, however it was fixed in a short time. Another problem was Wi-Fi connection, which hadn't been working during all period of stay. The host tried to solve the problem with provider, but it didn't help. On another hand there is a paid Wi-Fi connection in the hotel next to apartment, so I used it.
The host was very helpful and friendly, responding in a short time on every question we had. We would definitely prefer this apartment for next time in Rome.
Thank you and best wishes in 2013!
My husband and I just spent 6 nights at this apartment. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere, plenty of restaurants and easy access to the metro if needed.
Size wise, the apartment was perfect for two people. The bed was very comfortable. The only down side was the noise level on a couple of nights, so bring ear plugs!
Best location in Rome, if you want to be near al the main monuments at walking distance this is the place.
Federico was helpful and always responded to any questions swiftly plus he was also flexible with the check out time which was extremely helpful.
Although the flat is a little small 4 of us were sharing and it was still fine.
It was also easy to get to by public transport.
Location is superb: you can walk to almost all the tourist places, or a short subway ride from Vatican or Roman Forum. Room is clean and comfortable, has everything you need. The bed is comfortable. Emilie is a cool guy too. A great deal for its price.
Federico was a great host with a great apartment located very close to the Spanish steps. Everything was as stated in the description. Federico had constant communication and met us at the apartment even though we were running late. Rome taxi drivers tend not to take you directly to the apartment! (but it is easy enough to find).
Very clean, net and tidy. The kitchen is small but there are plenty of food and drink options close by. You can cook if you want and there is a fridge.
No hesitation in staying here again!
