VISIT ALTO VERGANTE
A delightful area that stands halfway between Lake Maggiore and Monte Mottarone. The flat road then crosses the villages of Ghevio, Pisano, Nebbiuno, Massino Visconti and Brovello Carpugnino with any deviations towards Colazza and later Gignese. In Levo, a hamlet of Stresa, the plateau ends and the roads either descend towards the lake or climb towards the mountain. An area rich in charm. So much green. Many farms that deal with flower farming also because of the particular temperate climate that favors this activity. Wonderful views. Villages rich in "hidden" treasures, see the Sanctuary of San Salvatore in Massino Visconti or the parish church of San Giorgio in Nebbiuno.
