We want your stay with us to be a wonderful experience you will remember. You will will get to enjoy a delicious "Southern Style Breakfast" of if you are on a tight schedule, we will put out a continental breakfast for you. Our home is comfortable, lovely and very eye appealing. People like the art work, the colors, it's "eclectic apppeal". It has been called a "true southern home". We want it to be an experience that will leave you happy and glad you came!
Welcome to our "Beautiful, Eclectic and Artsy" home. We would love to have you as a guest in our lovely home! Each room is very spacious and comfortable. Everyone wants to take our beds home with them! Our bed linens are the best and each bed has a memory foam mattress topper. We provide very plush towels for your bath needs and a very delicious breakfast, elegantly served as if you were in a high priced Bed and Breakfast! Our guest rave about the serving of breakfast while they are with us!
This room, the Blue Room, looks out over the Pergola and part of the back yard. It has a gable window with a window seat that looks out over the front lawn. Very enchanting. This is a very roomy bedroom with a queen size mattress, with a 4" memory foam mattress cover and 500ct sheets and pillow cases.
We are centrally located to just about anything you would like to see and do in the Baton Rouge area. We are just a couple of minutes from the Interstate. 15 minutes from LSU and anything else you would like to experience during your stay with us.
Baton Rouge is so centrally located to anything you may want to visit in South Louisiana! We are just within a hour of New Orleans, Cajun Country, the Gulf Coast, with its beautiful beaches and all of the Plantation Homes you may want to see including a short trip to our famous Natchez.
The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances. The whole house is completely updated, very lovely, comfortable and immaculate.
There are many excellent restaurants in our area, as we South Louisianians, boast of our delicious southern food.
We would love to have you stay with us. We do have a small Pomeranian named Foxie who loves people as much as we do!

Interaction with guests
We love to interact with our guest and are always available to give sight seeing sugestions if needed. We love to travel and to sight see and are aware of everything there is to do while staying in our wonderful city!
We are always close by to help with any possible needs or suggestions our guest may need!
Our neighborhood is very quiet, safe and established. It is filled with well manicured lawns and provides a very pleasant and appealing atmosphere to stay in.
We are centrally located in Baton Rouge. We are just a few minutes from the interstate that gives you access to any place in the Baton Rouge area and will take you in any direction you chose to visit. Wheter it is to the Gulf Coast, New Orleans, Cajun Country, or North to Saint Francisville or further to Natchez, you will find yourself with easy access. For those guest who do not rent a vehicle, we do have public transportation that is close to us and may work for some of our guest. It is best though to have a vehicle to get around in.
There is off street parking on our carport at the back of the house. Most guest rent a car at the airport, but we can be available to pick up at the airport. But a car is recommended for getting around. We have had guest without a vehicle and I am able to take them sight seeing if needed.
Other things to note
My husband and I travel extensively internationally and througout the United States. We have been to Paris, London, all througout Scotland, Nigeria, Ghanna, Sierra Leone, Ecuador, Mexico, Israel, many times and many other places. My husband is a book publisher and I am a motavational speaker in churches and conferences!
We love having guest! But this is our home and we take very good care of it! There can be no smoking, no liquor, no drugs, no loud or unruly behavior. We do not allow food/meals in the bedrooms. We ask that our home be cared for and that after a stay with us, that everything be left in the manner it was found.

My husband is an author and has written numerous books that are read all over the world. He has also ghost written/edited/published over 600 books for other people.
I Love to travel. Road trips so far this year, North Carolina, South Carolina, Smokey Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Arkansas, Gulf Coast, Lafayette, Natchez, Saint Francisville, etc., etc.,...............Part of the year we get to live outside of DC in Alexandria, Virginia. Awesome area of the country. Love it!

I have been to Scotland, London and other parts of England And Amsterdam. In Africa, I have been to Nigeria, Freetown, Sierra Leone. . I love gardening, hosting people in my home, music, dance, art, theater, reading and watching great movies!
