Fully remodeled in 2010.
Quiet, tree-lined street.
Two beautifully appointed bedrooms (both with queen size beds) and bathrooms, one with a bath. This is my home, and I definitely take pride in it...so it's cozy, clean and tidy.
Air conditioning, and heating. Washer and dryer.
Outdoor courtyard with fruit trees, fountain and hummingbirds.
Close to funky York Blvd and Occidental College. Great local restaurants like Maximiliano, Ba and The York, just a 10 min walk. Gorgeous open kitchen. Air conditioning/heating. Close to 2, 110, 5 and 134 to get where you need to go quickly.
The Metro leaves from the bottom on Ave 56 just south of York Blvd.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kimberley's house. It is very clean, and furnished and decorated in a comfortable/whimsical/delightful way. We were there for 19 days over Christmas and New Year's holidays, and had family Christmas dinner and other get-togethers (with Kimberley's permission). Everyone who came to the house loved it. Comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms with nice towels, great kitchen - the house is very light and open - a nice place to be.
The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe.
Kimberley gave us an introductory walk through the day before we "moved in" and left a list of contacts in case problems arose (none did).
I would definitely like to stay there again.
We had a great visit.
The location was like a bit of country in the middle of LA. Small, but beautiful garden attractive to both people and birds.
House was older, but had been refurbished and tastefully decorated.
Host was friendly and accomodated our every need.
