We restored this 1820 village farmhouse in 2016. It is situated in the heart of the historic village of Waterford. It has 2 1/2 acres behind, with two barns, a herd of very friendly goats, four chickens, and vegetable, herb and flower gardens. The back gate of the property leads to the Phillips Farm, 150 acres of preserved land, with a walking trail. Beautiful sunset views from the back porch. The house, a work in progress, was featured in both Country Living and Preservation Magazines.

Sarah’s place is very cute, and staying here was a pleasure. She was quick to respond to any questions we had, gave us local recommendations for food/drinks, and overall provided us with a great place to stay while in town for a wedding.

Sarah is an excellent host. The house is magical. Beautiful garden, great place to sit on the porch and it has the best view of an outdoor shower. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Such a fun house for a girls getaway weekend! This house is charming and just the right amount of rustic. We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen, relaxing on the porch (with the very friendly chickens) and exploring the garden. Comfy beds + country summer noises…

My friends and I had an amazing stay. This home is incredible and the outdoor shower made us all want one. We thoroughly enjoyed all the fresh produce and we had a blast petting and putting away the chickens, too. A perfect weekend away from the city. We truly hope we can come…
