The space

In the heart of Södermalm, squeezed between SOFO and Hornstull, with plenty of nice areas, it is also amazingly EASY to travel to all main stations such as: Arlanda/Stockholm Airport, Stockholm Fair/ÄLVSJÖ, Stockholm City, etc.

Enjoy central Stockholm at charming Mariatorget, in the very midst of Södermalm! Close to everything!

Direct communications to the Arlanda airport and the Stockholm Fair.

A charmingly mixed, open minded, boheme chic and safe neighborhood - a perfect base to experience Stockholm, either for work or pleasure.

Situated in the heart of Stockholm, Södermalm, which is one of Stockholms city centers.

Within walking and biking distance to museums, great restaurants, trendy and creative shopping areas and boutiques. (Close to the Abba hotell Rival, organic food stores, spectacular city sightings and small trendy shops.)

Famous traditional tourist attractions all within 15- 25 minutes walking distance: like the Old town, the Royal Castle, Slussen, Djurgården (35 min), and about 30 min walk to the Central Station. With subway it takes around 5-8 minutes to the Central Station.

You will be staying within 5-7 minutes walk from the metro line station "Mariatorget" as well as the commuter train (pendeltåg) station "Södra station" or "Stockholm Södra". Now you can travel extremely easy between Arlanda airport as well as the Stockholm Fair from my station Stockholm Södra, just a 4 minute walk from my place.

Several city buses are close by. No matter where you are going, public transportation could not be any closer. There are also relatively good parking possibilities on the street.

As said, wIth the "pendel" it is unusually simple as well as cheap to travel from Arlanda, the main air port to my place.

There is WIFI.

We will share common areas as kitchen, eating area and bathroom.

Note that the fee only have one guest in mind,

The apartment is renovated with a well equipped kitchen. This includes hot plates, owen, water cuttler, coffee maker as well as most other kitchen utilities such as plates, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. (Note no micrawave or toaster!)

Of course you are free to prepare your own food. But since I don't eat meat my self (RAW food), I appreciate NO (or as little as possible) meat cooking in the kitchen.

There is an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer.

(Free access to the common laundry room in the building which has industrial size washers, dryers and a drying cabinet - for longer stays only or upon specific request.)

A bath tub in the bathroom.
Bed linen and towels are included.

Let me know if you have any special requests and I will do my best accommodate this!

*The monhly fee are for at least 3 month of period. Shorter then 3 monhts and longer then 1 month — lets discuss. Price varies during summer and winter season.

Very welcome!

I am in my mid-forties and work as a pedagogue and learning consultant in the field of interactivity and eLearning. Since I freelance I enjoy the luxury of working from other places. During those occasions I sometimes let my home.

I enjoy yoga, healthy organic RAW food, art, folk music and jazz. :-)

Places i highly recommend in the nearest area is the restaurant Pappa Ray Ray, the Bistro Sud and the coffee shop Johan & Nyström, all at Swedenborgsgatan. There you also find several smaller, nice shops with clothes and organic foods. At St Paulsgatan you must stop for a coffee at "Kaffe" (as did Daniel Craig/Mikael Blomkvist in the Millenium movie "The Girl Who Played with Fire"). You must also see the pottery of Mikaela Willers At Mariatorget there is also the cosy Abba Hotel Rival, where you can have a coffe or drink. But most of all, you shouldn´t miss the spectacular view of Stockholm from the Mariaberget (The Maria mountain) at Monteliusvägen:
