Tadd & Nikki were the most kind and helpful people :) They arranged taxi for me - From the hotel to the apartement and to the airport. The apartement have everything you need; kitchen, hairdryer, wifi and a very comfortable bed. I visited Austin during SXSW so I spent most of my time in downtown. If you go by bus Iy takes around 20 min from the apartement. Nice neighbourhood !
Tadd and Nikki were great hosts. Their place was very clean, private and provided all the amenities needed for our stay. If you're staying in Austin you should definitely check this great place out!
I was in Austin for a month for work and this place was great. It's cozy and quiet in a great neighbourhood. The location was a short 5 min drive to dowtown and about 2 mins to I35 which was great to get around for work. Tadd was always super friendly and helpful if I needed anything! I would definitely recommend this spot and it made my first experience with Airbnb a positive one.
Tadd and Nikki were fantastic hosts. Having never lived in Texas, Tadd and Nikki made it easy with how welcoming they were. I knew I made the right choice for host when Tadd invited me out to a honky tonk bar on my first night in Austin. In addition to that, they invited me out on numerous occasions, provided recommendations on where to eat, and even dropped me off at the airport.
Aside from Tadd and Nikki being great hosts, the space they are providing is great as well. As soon as I unpacked my clothes, I felt at home: the place is roomy, comfortable, and decorated. On top of that, it is in a perfect location: they live just a few minutes drive from downtown and within walking distance from several grocery stores and coffee shops (very necessary since I came from Seattle). Walk just a little further, and there is a great selection of Mexican restaurants, a new organic, packaging-free grocery story, and much more. The neighborhood itself is very nice to walk around in.
Austin in general isn't the most walkable/busable city, but nevertheless, the location was in a good spot for getting to public transit: there were numerous bus lines nearby that I was able to take downtown in just about 15 minutes.
Having lived in Austin for nearly two decades, it is clear that Tadd and Nikki are passionate about their city. They are great people to go to for recommendations, and it is apparent that they want to give their guests the perfect Austin experience. If I end up visiting Austin again, which I hopefully will, I will surely be contacting Tadd and Nikki.
Had a wonderful time on my first trip to Austin--partly due to the fact that my hosts were awesome. Tadd gave me tips on cool spots, offered to pick me up from the airport, and even extended an invite to a concert. Great people, great times...not to mention an awesome living space!
I totally recommend this place. I spent a wonderful month and loved it. Thank you Tadd and Nikki for having me. The house has lots of personality rustic and modern at the same time. It is a walking distance from the greatest coffeehouse in Austin. It is quiet, safe, clean, and beautiful. It couldn't been any better for me.
Tadd and Nikki's place was great. It was a bit far from the downtown, but buses were easy to catch and the apartment was perfect for our stay. Thanks guys!
Thanks Tadd and Nikki for making my first airbnb experience that best that i could imagine. As hosts, you couldn't ask for anything more. they made sure I had everything I needed. The apartment is cozy and has a very homey feel. The neighborhood is great. would highly recommend to anyone traveling through Austin. I really couldn't have asked for better hosts.
