From the porch of your tent you can see the waves breaking in the Pacific Ocean. A stroll on the lawn gets you to the beach. Your luxury tent has an attached bathroom with hot water and all of the amenities of a standard hotel room.

The space

Our Luxury tents were imported from South Africa. They provide you with 3 layers of protection. The upper layer is for the sun, the second layer is for the rain and the third layer protects you from the bugs. Sleeping in a tent allows the sounds and smells of the ocean in, while our bathrooms will allow you to rough it in style!

Guest access

All Beach Camp guests have access to our communal kitchen. The area features a small store selling drinks, souvenirs and an assortment of items you might need on the beach.

Interaction with guests

My wife and I live across the street and will gladly help you with your travel details. Alex is our daily host. He will show you sloths, and help you out with anything you might need.

This was an amazing experience!! I was very impressed with the beautiful tent. I loved being able to hear the ocean while we slept. Make sure to take the time to watch the sunsets. I wouldn't consider this beach a good place to swim. The surf is very rough but it is great beach for walking. There are very few people which leaves you to experience the beauty of Costa Rica alone.

Beautiful place right on the beach. Great breakfast each day, probably not the best place if you don't have a car as it is a little ways from Dominical or Manuel Antonio, and Matapalo isn't much more than a beach with a small number of hotels, restaurants, and corner stores. But if you like hanging out on the beach, this is definitely a good place to be!
