  • Conny was amazing! My wife and I had a such a great experience here, I would highly recommend staying here. When we (email hidden), we had been lost the entire day since we had left Dublin. We were exhausted by the time we found the B&B. From the moment we walked in the door, Conny was kind and inviting; she showed us around and we enjoyed coffee and pie in her beautiful backyard. Conny is one of nicest people you will ever meet, we feel so lucky to have found this B&B. Since our GPS was not working, Conny was so kind, she drew us a map (she gives the best directions) to help us get dinner and she also helped us locate the nearby airport in Cork so we could get a new GPS. Always kind and smiling, I would definitely stay here on our next visit to the Cork area. The room is large and comfortable, the bathroom was also very clean, the Irish breakfast was delicious -Conny is an amazing cook!- Such a beautiful area, she has 2 med/large dogs who are very friendly, and a few cats which were super adorable. Great country area and pleasant company, it was very quiet when we needed sleep, this was a great relief after leaving the busy area of Dublin. Thank you for everything Conny, you made our trip to Ireland so pleasant!

  • We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, relaxing place to stay during our time in Ireland. Conny was a cheerful and engaging host, went out of her way to give us recommendations and assistance in our driving trips through the countryside, and made a generous breakfast for us each morning. Our privacy was absolutely respected, but she was always available if we needed assistance or had questions. We highly recommend Walkers Rest B&B!

About
I am German and 50 years of age and we moved in 2000 to Ireland as we fell, on our holiday trip in 1999, in love with this beautiful (website hidden) husband and myself are passionate riders and we have stables and a riding arena. Unfortunately we have no horses at the moment due to private circumstances. You will find cats, dogs and hens on our site. We even have a small river running through our field. There is a barbecue as well as nice walks around. We didn't travel so much as we have 3 children. My favourite destinations would be Afrika and Australia. I am working as a Home Help and my husband is in computers. As my husband is a passionate motorcyclist , bikers are more than welcome.
