This is a truely luxury apartment of 83 sq. meters, with 2 bedrooms, 2 marble bathrooms, in an early 19th century building, a short walk to the Opera house, Rue de la Paix and Palais Royal and Louvre area, so right in the center of Paris.
Lovely apartment and great location. We were suppose to be 3 people but ended up just me and my bf. But you can fit 5 people in this flat. Lovely and would recommend. Best S
Terrific experience overall! Apartment is gorgeous and precisely how described.
The apt was as it appeared in the photographs. The location was central, although the street was a bit noisy. Jessica was especially warm and helped us before we arrived. Once at the apt, Paulina helped coordinate several appointments for us. Although we were expected to run the dishwasher, there was no dishwasher soap. In addition, there were no bars of soap in the bathrooms, although there was a small hotel-sized bottle of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion which were enough for one night. Also, there were no napkins or paper towels. In addition, there was no toilet in the master bathroom. Having said that, it was a pretty apartment to come back to after a long day of sightseeing.
The location can't be beat, for someone looking to see the sights it is perfect. Second, the apartment itself is exactly as pictured. Done perfectly, it really makes you feel like you are in Paris. And the person who checked us in could not have been more helpful or pleasant.
The challenges were that the hot water heater didn't work (it is an on demand heater and after a few minutes the pressure would drop and the heat would turn off), the water to the toilet stopped and so flushing required filling a pot with water and pouring it down the toilet. The radiators ran off the same dodgy on demand unit so the apartment was cold. Lastly, it is a noisy apartment. Lots of traffic for a small street and you can here the cars like they are in the room.
All was reported to the mgmt company but wasn't fixed, I imagine due to the holidays and the fact it was a weekend?
All in all I would say it is a great place for a summertime romp in Paris for people in their 20s to 30s who don't mind a few inconveniences.
A magical experience! The apartment is EXACTLY as it appears in the pictures! It is in a fabulous neighbourhood in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement. It is tastefully decorated (with beautiful original paintings and period furniture) and luxuriously appointed (all the way down to silver-plated cutlery and thick luxurious towels). In addition, it was perfectly clean and everything was in perfect working order. This apartment truly exceeded our expectations and we hope that it will be available the next time that we are in Paris. The host (Jessica) is wonderful! She epitomises professionalism and diligence. She patiently answered our many questions prior to our arrival and kindly waited for us at the apartment upon our arrival. Jessica is truly one of a kind and we hope that her company appreciates her as much as we do!
The apartment was just as amazing as I imagined it to be, spacious and great location and central! The process was easy to receive and exit the apartment the staff were helpful and responsive will definitely use any of their apartments if I'm in Paris again!
