Sorry you felt the need to leave such a bad review. As much as we appreciated you keeping us updated on your arrival. You originally wanted to check in at 5pm, you then text to say you were running 2hrs and 20mins late. You then sent another text to say you’d made up time and would be there at 6:45pm. You then sent a 3rd text at 7:07pm to say you were there. Claire met you at 7:15 after waiting from 5pm to check you in. We waived the £30 late check in fee which is chargeable after 6pm as per our Airbnb terms. Once claire had checked you in she did explain about the roads being closed for the marathon on Sunday and said that she maybe 5 to 10 minutes late, due to the road closures and other check outs. On Saturday evening Claire messaged you asking if you wanted to leave at 11am you replied asking for a later check out which claire replied it wasn’t possible as we had another guest arriving at 2pm. Unfortunately as with any apartment we don’t have the facilities to store guests luggage, had you made a request when you booked we may have been able to find you somewhere to store it. I’m highly disappointed that you rated 2 for cleanliness. We always pride ourselves on cleanliness and as you can see from our previous guest reviews have always scored highly. Any problems you had in the apartment were never reported and we were never given the opportunity to sort these out during your stay.
