Welcome to Omiya house, which is a traditional Japanese house located in the Kyoto center, near Omiya Station only 2 minutes by walk. The house has been renovated with leaving its traditional beauty but still amenity serves your convenience. Very easy access to stations&sites, you also can take public transportation from Kyoto Station to many famous spots.
There are supermarkets, post offices, hospitals, restaurants and stations nearby. Life is very convenient
The space
It's a historic house, has the testimony of the elegance and prosperous of Kyoto's history. She quietly located in Kyoto city centre, I don't know how much memory she keeps, she is just waiting for the coming guests say Hello and Bye.
It is 2 floor house. There are 2 living rooms on the first floor, both with double size bed. A small open kitchen can make yourself to make a cup of coffee or tea chatting with people around there. 2 bathroom and 1 washroom are in the floor one. Another 2 living rooms on the second floor, one is tatami room and another room with 2 single beds. This two rooms have independent washroom and bathroom. We named this 4 living room as Wind/Flower/Snow/Moon, sounds like 4 sisters in a good relationship.
Guest access
All items in the house are allowed to use. Please kindly do not interrupt other's daily life when you share the house. Respect each other is the key responsibility of the guests. We trust you will do it properly and hope you make new friends there!
Other things to note
*Be careful of the stairs.
1. You can put your luggage before you check in.
(Check-in: 4:00 p.m.; Check-out: 10:00 a.m.)
2. Please put the key back into key box when you leave the house. (If you lost the keys, we will demand you for the cost.)
3. You can ask for the extra towels, it cost 600 Yen each.
4. You should bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
5. Please take care of the domestic appliance.
6. The guest house is in a residential area. Please don't make excessive noise, especially in the evening or when accessing or leaving the house -- any complaint from our neighbors may result in the cancellation of their stay without refund.
7. No shoes in the house.
8. Pets are prohibited.
9. No smoking in and around the house, including nearby alley.
10. Unfair acts are prohibited.
11. Please look after your children when using the balcony.
12. Please turn off the switch when you go outside.
13. Please keep your check-out time. We have to clean up our house before the next guests’ check-in. You should pay for the delayed time (2000 Yen/ 15 min).
14. Please put the keys back to the key box when you checking-out.
15. Please contact the host if you have any questions.
16. Only registered guests are allowed in our house.
17. Any modification of the number of guests must be made and settled at least two days before arrival. We cannot add a guest (a bed/futon) the day of the arrival of the guests.
We expect our guests to behave the way they would do at home, respecting local laws and regulations.
18. All children must be mentioned. Babies and toddlers are welcome to stay for free if they share a bed with someone. Or they would be counted as guest if they require their own bed (futon). Children above 5 should be counted as a guest and cannot stay for free.
