Hi ... I hope I can be your host and offer a great experience staying in my city centre apartment!
I check my email constantly and endeavour to reply to all emails very promptly as I know it helps you plan ... PLEASE CONTACT ME TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY BEFORE YOU SEND A BOOKING REQUEST ... Thanks!
This listing is for a private room with a double bed that can sleep two people. This room also has its own private ELECTRIC SHOWER!
People book through airbnb to get local information and a friendly welcome in your host's home rather than a neutral sterile apartment - I hope you will enjoy your stay in my home with myself and any other guests visiting Dublin. Dublin is a great city - ready to welcome you!
I am 4 minutes walk from the Luas (tram) Red line which is a direct link to the National Convention Centre but I am within very easy walking distance of anywhere in the city centre!
Please check the availability of each listing I offer on it's calender as they can differ ..... thanks! - its always worthwhile to message me anyway ... as I can sometimes have availability at the last minute!

It's nice to know who might be coming to stay so if you can please fill me in just a little on your group and your overall travel plans!
I live in Dublin city centre in Smithfield just 10 mins walk from the heart of Dublin and it's principal 'boulevard' O'Connell Street and the cool social/bar/restaurant quarter - Temple Bar.
In addition there is a host of shops/restaurants/bars located just steps from your Dublin home from home - see the gallery of pics for some cool places at your doorstep!
I have a lot of experience in hosting people and showing people my city – I love talking about recent irish history and my apartment looks onto the Four Courts building – one of the many historical buildings in Dublin! I can leave you to your own schedule or am happy to suggest good things to do and see, both in Dublin and in the surrounding countryside and beyond .... from galleries and museums to shopping to country / historical walks – just ask – I am happy to point you in the right direction – Dublin awaits you!
There are many tourist attractions such as Jameson Distillery and National Museum, Collins Barracks along with the famous Cobblestone Bar, renowned for irish music and a good pint of Guinness, right at your doorstep! Just across Dublin's principal river, the Liffey, is St. James' Gate - home of Guinness since 1759!

Rory was out of town when we arrived but was wonderful with communication, getting us info and recommendations for the area, and having his colleague meet us for check in when we arrived (we arrived late, and he was very accommodating and helpful). This was by far the most like a hotel we had in several Airbnb stays while in Europe - he had everything from a full kitchen to washer AND dryer and everything you could need if you forgot it in the bathroom, etc. Would not hesitate to stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone!
We have stayed with Rory for the past 5 nights and I truly couldn't recommend Rory and the accommodation more highly. Great location, host and atmosphere.
Nice room. Rory was very welcoming, gave us tips where to go. Actually only a stay for one night, but i would definately recommend this place.
We love Rory -- I've already reviewed our time with him in another posting (we stayed two separate days, so we were given two chances to comment). Suffice it to say that he's welcoming, kind, and bends over backwards to accommodate his guests. The apartment is great, and the location couldn't have been better.
Rory is just great -- very warm, welcoming, and considerate. He corresponded with us before our trip to coordinate an arrival time that was convenient for us, had fantastic recommendations for sights to see and music venues in Dublin, and worked hard to help us plan our trip to the West Coast of Ireland. Then, when we unexpectedly had a car for an extra night, he bent over backwards to find us a place to park for free. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, and clean, and there was even cereal, milk, and tea for breakfast. We couldn't have asked for a better, kinder host.
Fantastic location, really comfortable apartment, Rory couldn't have been more accommodating. All in all a great stay, highly recommended.
Rory is a true gem of the Emerald Isle. He was very accommodating on short notice and made arrival and departure as easy on me as possible. He also gave me a ton of info on not only Dublin but Ireland as a whole and went out of his way to check into things I was curious about doing while in Ireland and even arranged a cab for me when I left. The apartment was within walking distance to everything I wanted to visit including the city center. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend staying with Rory if you are ever in or around Dublin.
Rory was a kind host, he helped us organize our road trip, giving us tips & ideas about where to go, what to see, etc. Better than most Irish Tourist Office actually !
Rory was a great host. He showed us where to go and what to see. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had an amazing time in Dublin and would definitely use Rory again.
Initially we were disappointed as we arrived late in the afternoon (430pm) to a messy house and room which was not made up. Upon arriving back at 1030pm the room was made up and lovely.
