Newly-built, nicely furnished. Ideal for groups of families and friends.
Owned and managed by two childhood friends, Matthew and Daniel, keen skiers and cyclists who love to visit Châtel experiencing everything the region has to offer, whether it be carving down Barbossine, cycling up Col de Bassachaux, hiking the old smuggling routes along the Swiss border, or taking a dip outdoors in Forme D'o.
The space
The apartment is a new modern residence built in 2016.
It comprises:
Entrance hall with storage space
Three bedrooms, plus a bunk bed in the entrance hall and travel cot provided.
Large bathroom with bath, shower and toilet
Separate shower room
Separate WC
Large living space:
* Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher etc
* Dining area with extending table for 8 people
* Sitting area with two sofas, large TV and Hi-Fi
Annex:
* Ski locker
* Garage with space for 2 cars parked lengthways, max 2m height, plus socket for EV charging. Home charging adapter required (standard French type E socket)
The apartment accommodates 6 people comfortably, 8 people maximum (recommended 6 adults + 2 children).
Other things to note
Châtel is 90 minutes drive from Geneva or 60 minutes drive from Sion. From Geneva, we recommend hiring a car and then choose either the Swiss motorways on the north side of the lake or the French roads on the south side of the lake.
Having a car during your stay is not essential but is recommended, for easy access to places like the big supermarket in the outskirts of town.
