Interaction with Guests
As much or as little desired- both Ethan and I will be present during your stay.
You'll immediately feel at home in eclectic Hyde Park. Bring your running shoes, as we're not but one minute walking from Gillham Park.
Ideal location as our home is just a 10-15 walk to the Plaza, The Nelson Atkins Museum, The Kemper Museum, Westport, and parks. A cab will be needed to get to and from the airport.
Be respectful, be clean, be kind, and though we adore animals, they are not allowed in our home. In addition, smoking is not permitted.
Chelsea and Ethan have an awesome place and are terrific hosts. They welcomed me with a quick tour of what I discovered was a very cool home, with all sorts of awesome hand made decor, interesting artifacts, and unique design. My room had a welcome tray with drinks and snacks.
They also sent me a very helpful pinterest about Kansas City ahead of time.
Most importantly, they were especially accommodating. They were very helpful when my schedule changed and I had to adjust my stay.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay with awesome people!
Chelsea and Ethan's home was the perfect place to stay in KC. It was conveniently located near all of the places we wanted to visit which was a huge plus. We will definitely return here on our next trip!
We had an absolutely wonderful trip. Ethan and Chelsea were perfect hosts... friendly and chatty when we had questions and time to talk, but largely made us feel like the space was our own to enjoy. Adorable neighborhood with great walkability. Would definitely come back!
Great home and a good location. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. I did not have time to interact with the owners but they were gracious enough to provide breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
Ethan and Cheslea have a beautiful home and were kind and informative about places to visit in Kansas City. They left us soda water and chocolate nut mix in our room! What a treat!
The room itself is host to a very comfortable bed and a clean and modern environment. I'd definitely stay here again when visiting KCMO!!
Ethan and Chelsea made the check in process very easy, which was great since I decided to come into town earlier than I originally told them I would.
The home is in a location so close to numerous KC attractions. It's in a historic neighborhood and has been well cared for. The interior decor is retro which works well with the age of the home and is just fun to experience.
The bed is a full, and was comfortable and big enough for two people. The hosts provided several options for breakfast, which is great especially if you're staying for more than one night. Their kitchen is one of the best I've seen!
Ethan and Chelsea are great hosts. They respected the privacy of my girlfriend and I, but also invited us to hang out and get to know them better.
This was my 2nd stay at Ethan & Chelsea's home. I would recommend their home as a place to stay. They do a great job of making you feel welcomed. We even had a nice conversation the evening I was there while we all ate dinner in their dining room. Their home is a beautiful city neighborhood and is very close to the art museums and Plaza & Westport shopping/ dining areas.
I am a middle school teacher of both French and ESL, and also hold a part-time job at a local butcher in town. Ethan is an associate creative director at a local advertising agency here in KC. Aside from rock star hosting, we additionally love traveling, cooking, concerting, brunching, record sifting, and al fresco dining. I've lived in Boston, Madrid, Angers (France), Montreal, and together we've traveled to various U.S. cities, through Europe, to parts of South America, and the Caribbean. Airbnb has been so good to us; through Airbnb, we've stayed at fabulous spaces and met some fun-loving faces.
Our city is bound to sweep you off your feet- whether it be because of the insane food, the music, or KC's rich history. Enjoy what this city has to offer while staying at our modern craftsman home- we promise the best for our guests!
