Manhattan is a great city, but it's still a city with city streets and sidewalks we all walk on. I expect visitors to be clean and tidy. No luggage or bags on the furniture.
We've been here on May 2-9, 2015. This is really a fantastic address for a couple. Tracy is an extremely nice and friendly person. The house is really clean and gives a very warm feeling. We felt quite 'at home'. A small dog is around but it's so nice and clean you do not even notice. Metro station is 50 m away from the door and we found Harlem area rather safe and lively (jazz clubs and good places to eat). The street noise may pose a problem for those who can only sleep in perfect silence... however after the wole day out we always slept like stones !
Tracy was absolutely wonderful! She responded promptly to all inquiries prior to our trip, and she was there to meet us when we arrived. Everything was just as mentioned in her description. The apartment was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and she made us feel at home. This was my wife and I's first trip to New York and Tracy was very helpful in suggesting things to do. One of the best things about her apartment is its proximity to the express subway to lower Manhattan. We bought an unlimited, weekly subway pass and downloaded the NYC Transit app for our phone which made navigating the city very easy. Our trip was wonderful and we fully recommend Tracy as a host!
We spent five nights in Tracy apartment and we found the experience lovely! Everything was clean and well prepared and Tracy is very nice and helpful! The subway station is extremely close to the apartment and if you like walking there is a lot of green near by. Bruno is an amazing and very quiet dog. Harlem is a great place to stay and when we will come back to NYC Tracy will be surely our first choice!!!
Quiet neighborhood, subaway within walking distance of the house, near Central Park. Clean and cozy apartment is fully consistent with the description and photo. Hospitable, friendly, sociable hostess, ready to help if needed, as well as a cute dog Bruno - always cheer up) Nice, cute, at home. I strongly advise not regret it.
We had an excellent stay in Harlem thanks to Tracy (and Bruno)! She made us feel very welcome and was chilled out about us staying there. It really felt like we were staying with a friend in their beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment.
Her apartment made a great base for adventuring in New York. The neighborhood was buzzing with life and felt safe even late at night. The apartment is literally right next to a subway station that is on the express line and that makes it easy to get around the city to explore. Such a great location.
Tracy is a great host and knows how to make you feel cozy in her home. She and her dog Bruno are absolutely lovely, the place is spotless, spacious and homely, just as in the pictures, if not nicer :-) Very convenient at the same time, as the metro station is right at the door. The neighbourhood is lively with quite a lot of shops and the Apollo Theater just around the corner.
Séjour très agréable, appartement très bien situé juste à côté du métro.
Tracy bien sympathique!
Seul petit bémol: l'isolation sonore de la chambre.
