One state living in another: Italy and the Vatican. The Vatican is the world’s tiniest sovereign state, whose centre is the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica, where the Pope recites the Angelus prayers every Sunday. Its Basilica is a “must” for anyone coming to Rome.
Do however remember to dress properly. The wearing of short skirts or short trousers and sleeveless dresses inside the Basilica is not allowed. The Vatican State also includes the splendid Vatican Museums.
Among the most important and interesting in the world, a visit to the museum however does require a great deal of energy and patience. Queuing times may be shortened by booking online.
The alleys encompassing the Vatican are part of the “Borgo” district, narrow, dimly-lit roads, packed with restaurants and souvenir shops which sharply contrast with the spacious, broad Via della Conciliazione.
The Prati district offers an altogether different atmosphere which, with its shop-lined roads, attracts the serious shopper.
The metro station Ottaviano located at only 50 meters also at the street many buses to go everywhere

Sabrina's place was just what we needed. Her son picked my parents up from the airport, and we enjoyed our three days there -- there was space for two (tall!) couples, we cooked and ate in the apartment, and Sabrina helped us figure out things like how to find the water heater. (She also left a power strip that reaches from the electrical outlet needed to the cords for the kitchen appliances -- and left fans that were very helpful both for moving air around in warm weather and for drowning out some street noise.) One thing guests should know is that the building photo in the listing is not the apartment building of this listing, which is on the south side of the block to the west of that photo. (It may also be salient for people who are interested in this apartment because it has a lift that one needs to climb a number of steps to get in the door and up to the lift on the ground floor.)
Thanks a ton Sabrina for everything. It was an wonderful experience - we're missing the place after even coming back to Germany. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at your place- super location, close to Metro , everything at its best. Please convey our sincere thanks to Mrs Anna Marie as well.
Ci ritornerei sicuramente.

Is in a very beautiful and safe neiborhood, near Vatican. Restaurants, The best market full of fruit, bread, cheeses, etc.
We can not say thank you enough.
The location, the welcoming, clean and beautiful apartment.
They fix a taxi to pick us at the airport.
They explaing every thing to us very well and more.
We didn't understand about trash, but we fix it. We have to bring it out side the building and place it in a community dumpster at the Street.
We were 5 friends and they can not stop telling me thank you for this apartment and all that I booked in Europe throught airbnb.com
This property was spacious, homey, and very nice for our week-long excursion to Rome. It is literally around the corner from the Vatican, and in close proximity to a number of good restaurants, gelaterias, and grocery stores. I'd definitely recommend it for future travelers. However, you should temper your expectations in a couple of areas:
1. The place can get pretty cold - there are only a couple of radiators in the apartment.
2. Although the place lists wi-fi in the amenities, it's actually a 3G internet stick and doesn't always work.
3. The older woman who lets you in the apartment and the apartment manager, Ana Maria, don't speak any English. Sabrina is pretty responsive if you text or e-mail her though.
4. Some previous guests didn't do a good job washing their glassware / dishes, so make sure you wash your dishes before you use them.
we had four adults and a one year old in this apartment. we picked it based on location and that it had a tub (for bathing the baby). the location was great and the apartment was nice although there was not a tub. There was a small love seat and a big kitchen table (made of glass so I apologize for all the fingerprints!!) It is on the fourth floor but there is an elevator if needed. Sabrina was kind and quick to respond. The apartment was easy to find.
