Welcome to our ranch style home in SE Portland just South of Mt. Tabor. It's on a quiet tree lined street with plenty of parking.
Huge Daylight basement room, 600 sq. ft.,with 6 basement windows. Comfie queen sized bed, with pillow top.
There's also a library of books, and a desk. You also have your own fireplace. TV with DVD's included (not hooked up for television)
Bathroom is shared.
This is a quiet home on a quiet block. Many guests are here visiting friends and relatives in the Portland area.
The home is on a quiet tree lined street just South of Mt. Tabor, with a beautiful huge Sequoia tree in the backyard.
The back patio is a great place to sit and relax.
Bus lines to downtown Portland just minutes away. Beautiful Mt. Tabor park a few minutes walk,with a gorgeous view of the city.
The design is Asian influenced, with statuary from Bali, India, and Vietnam.
The house has 5 bedrooms.
This room is under the living room/dining room area. The people upstairs rarely use this area, but if they do, you might hear footsteps and voices.
Non smoking household. If you want to listen to loud music or have a party-like atmosphere, this is not the setting for you.
This is a daylight basement. There are 6 daylight basement windows. It is well lit, and we have SAD lights available on request.
Yoga mats available. Owner is a yoga teacher, available for lessons.
Plenty of places for running nearby.
Bicycling is popular in Portland. There is a carport where you can safely store you rbike(s). Maps of bike streets available on request.
Owner is a Massage Therapist, massages available on premises upon request if there are openings in his schedule. $65 for an hour session.
John also has a lot of discount coupons available, including savings of up to 60% in over 64 restaurants nearby.
Breakfast available, from organic eggs to natural cereals, you make your own meal. You have to let us know what you want available.
Other Things to Note
There are two cats that live on the property. They are in and out of the basement for food. They are mainly outside during the summer.
Kitchen needs to be kept spic and span. Always do your dishes before you leave the space.
Noise should be kept to a minimum.
Please make sure you let people know if there's too much noise.
Any perks that you may be expecting need to be asked for specifically. John or his representative are here to make your stay and comfortable and easy as possible.
No smoking. If you smoke outside, stay far away from the doors.
Please keep your doors closed. Cats should not be allowed in to the private guest rooms.
