Our home is located on the slops of Hualalai Mountain four miles from the quaint artist village of Holualoa and the world famous Kona coffee growing area. Our plantation style home is on 5 acres with ample pastureland for our pet horse. We have decided to open up the lower level of our home to guests. Each of the three bedrooms have their own separate entrance, panoramic views of the blue Pacific and shared lanai. Guests have access to two full baths; one having a lovely outdoor shower. Also available to our guests is use of a recreation room with books, games and television. We have set up an outdoor kitchen which includes: barbecue, refrigerator, coffee maker , toaster oven, microwave, portable stove and a full size eating area. Our guests can relax in a spacious hot tub and enjoy the awesome views!! Kailua Kona with restaurants , shopping and water activities is a 10 minute drive. In addition we are in close proximity to the airport, beaches and harbor.

My husband Jim and I have lived in Kona for almost 30 years, after sailing to Oahu from California on a 35 foot sailboat and then on through the South Pacific. We love to travel and feel that we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Our entire home ( 5 bdrm, 4 bath) is available to rent during periods when we are out of town. Please inquire regarding pricing.

The view was incredible! We loved watching the sunset from up above the sealine and see the city lights come on! The hot tub was great morning treat with a light wind. We LOVED the outdoor/indoor living. The outdoor shower, the outdoor kitchen, the doors to each room opened to the patio. Perfect!

A very spacious apartment on the ground floor of the house with a huge garden and a special outdoor kitchen awaits you. The view is unbeatable and Angela and her husband were very kind and generous hosts. We would definitely recommend the place.

Great views, and good space for the family. The outdoor shower was a winner. The outdoor kitchen was interesting and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the linen was clean. We had a lovely stay. The house is near the supermarkets, the main towns, the highways north and south. It's lovely of the family to open their home like this. Although self-contained there are times when you are aware you're sharing someones home. We had a great time on the big island and the house was a great base for the trip.

Loved the outdoor shower with blossoms making the roomy shower space smell divine--this was a unique experience. With 5 people we had plenty of space. The outdoor kitchen worked out well, and we grilled our dinner on the gas grill. We enjoyed the panoramic view down the mountainside with sky merging into sea. View available from each bedroom and especially from the spa tub and outdoor kitchen table. Angela and Jim were very welcoming and we much enjoyed the delicious "apple" bananas they provided--superior flavor to what we are used to. Quiet and secure spot with services and restaurants less than 15 minutes away in Kailua-Kona. Would love to stay here again on a future visit.

Angela's place is one of the best places I have ever stayed for trips. As many people mentioned from the reviews, this place has just unbelievable sceneries/views from any perspective of the house. Simply just wow-moments during the entire time staying at the place. Four family members had spent very comfortable and relaxing time at a very clean, warm and way more spacious place. Unlike one of the reviews from others, I personally think it was very comfortable to do any kind of cooking from regular dishes to bbq at the place. Angela has helped us with kind and fast responses for something like laundry or tips for travels. A horse running in the yard added warmness and joyfulness while never bothering us in any manner. The place is, personally, the best place to check multiple coffee farms while very close to Costco/Safeway. I highly recommend you to visit UCC coffee farm for its Roastmaster tour, the best for custom roasting and very kind explanations. And it is like 10/15 mins from Angela's. If you travel to South of the Kona, Greenwell farm was great to hear about the story of one of the biggest coffee farm of Kona. I wish I can stay here again next time, too.

Angela's place was great! The communication was excellent and so was our check in ( done by Angela's son in-law Logan, he made sure it all went well) The house is up on the hills and you get a 180 degrees undisturbed view of the ocean and the city below. No direct neighbours which makes the location very quiet. It doesn't have a real kitchen, but you can use the grill or a small -camping-gas kind of a stove and a microwave,it is outside on the terrace ( we didn't need a kitchen anyway, so it was perfect for us). Comfy beds and Netflix. :) The star of our stay? Victoria! A beautiful mare that welcomed us and came to say hello every morning. Oh. The terrace has a jacuzzi as well. ;) It is 15 mins from the airport, 10 from downtown, this makes it a perfect location. We enjoyed it a lot and truly recommend it.

Easy check in and out. Very private and relaxing. All the necessary amenities and then some! Fabulous view! Difficult to say where the ocean and sky meet in the blue expanse. Friendly & helpful hosts.

My husband and I love to travel! We have lived on the Big Island of Hawaii for 30 years. We own and operated Old Hawaii Realty. Our home is located in beautiful Holualoa overlooking the Pacific Ocean on 5 acres of pastureland and tropical foliage.
