This is the lower level of our home. The space includes 3 bedroom, 2 baths- one of the baths is located on the lanai and includes an outdoor shower; recreation room; kitchen area is on lanai and is covered; hot tub and parking.
For additional guests after two people, the rate is $ 30 per person per day.
If 2 people require two rooms the charge is an additional $30 per day.
Our home is located on the slops of Hualalai Mountain four miles from the quaint artist village of Holualoa and the world famous Kona coffee growing area. Our plantation style home is on 5 acres with ample pastureland for our pet horse. We have decided to open up the lower level of our home to guests. Each of the three bedrooms have their own separate entrance, panoramic views of the blue Pacific and shared lanai. Guests have access to two full baths; one having a lovely outdoor shower. Also available to our guests is use of a recreation room with books, games and television. We have set up an outdoor kitchen which includes: barbecue, refrigerator, coffee maker , toaster oven, microwave, portable stove and a full size eating area. Our guests can relax in a spacious hot tub and enjoy the awesome views!! Kailua Kona with restaurants , shopping and water activities is a 10 minute drive. In addition we are in close proximity to the airport, beaches and harbor.
My husband Jim and I have lived in Kona for almost 30 years, after sailing to Oahu from California on a 35 foot sailboat and then on through the South Pacific. We love to travel and feel that we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
Our entire home ( 5 bdrm, 4 bath) is available to rent during periods when we are out of town. Please inquire regarding pricing.
No loud noise after 10 pm. Parking in designated areas. Family rates are negotiable.
