Independent villa on the ground of an ancient monastery dating from the 14th century, recently renovated with great care, respecting the original features. The interiors preserve antique furniture belonging to the family of the owner, ancient frescoes, majestic fireplaces and original floors, vaults and arches. The complex is surrounded by the silence of the countryside, in an area of 130 hectares of fields and forest, 1 km from the river Po, the longest of Italy, and 13 km from Cremona, beautiful town well known for the construction of violins (here was born the famous Stradivari). Also worth seeing Busseto village (35 km), the birthplace of Giuseppe Verdi. Available continental breakfast and dinner (extra on request), prepared by the owner with the genuine products in the big salon of the main palace.
The villa is on two floors: the ground floor consists of a living room and a dining room separated by an arch, which leads to the private garden with a pergola under which you can have meals; the first floor is a fairy-tale "children's room" with 4 beds, which leads to a double bedroom. Bathroom with jacuzzi.
