Traditional moroccan house 5 minutes’ walk from Jmaa El Fna.
We have a double and a twin room;
Guests can also make use of the common living room.
The rooms are clean and comfortable.
There's (email hidden) connection available for the guests!
The house is easy to reach by foot, it’s a straight street from the main square - Jmaa El Fna – the hub of tourist activity in Marrakech, so lots of restaurants, cafes, hammams within an easy walk, as well as, of course, the great shopping in the souks! Our house is on a small, safe, residential street, just off a picturesque food market.
We will give you keys to the house – so you are free to come and go as you please.
And if you need an airport transfer, we can arrange it in advance at the cost of 180 dirham (around 15 euro) each way.
We can also provide you with a map of the city, and we’re available to help you however we can, to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
In case you want get out of the city, we can arrange excursions within the surrounding area, Atlas mountains, Ourika valley, the Sahara desert, Essaouria, etc.
Looking forward to welcoming you to our home and to Marrakech!!
Mattia and Erika have a beautiful little riad conveniently located in, surprising it actually exists, a quiet part of the medina. It is perfect for a little respite from the madness of the town but so close that you can partake in that madness, as well. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious, the shower is hot. No complaints at all. And they are both very nice people!
Would definitely recommend!
Overall a pleasant stay for a couple of nights. Great location and friendly hosts. I would stay with them again!
The place is quite hard to find for the first time but obviously it isn't hosts fault (Mattia and Erika turned out to be very warm, friendly and helpful couple:) The Riad is clean with hot water and toilet paper (believe me it isn't a "standard" in this part of the world;) The beds could be a little bit more comfortable but despite of that we were very satisfied with this accommodation. THX!
Mattia and Erika were great, good communication, didn't see much of them, we came and went as we pleased. We stayed in the downstairs room, which has two little beds, not advisable if you're a giant human, but my sister and I slept well. The bathroom is upstairs, but there's a sink and fridge downstairs. Which is convenient. There's no windows, but that's super common in Riads in Morocco, the door opens to the center of the lower level. It's a beautiful place. The place is in the Medina (old maze like part of the city), and the school next to it is a good marker for your location, just accept that you'll probably get lost at least once or twice in Marrakesh. Best option to find your way back is buy something small at a stall, then ask directions. Otherwise people will charge you to give you directions. The price is good, about 10-15 minutes walk to Djemaa El Fna (if you don't get lost), then you can catch a taxi from there to anywhere. A taxi around town shouldn't be more than 30 dirhams. Ask for the meter or bargain hard, petit taxis only or you'll get ripped off. Have fun!
Great location in Medina and still relatively easy to find compared to other Riads that we stayed at. Quiet & clean. Nice lounge area. Private. Nice hosts.
Mattia and Erika's place is so lovely. The location is very good close to the main square in the Medina and at the same not so touristic. The rooms is adorable and the common areas as well. I have already suggested the place for some friends. I think is the perfect stay in Marrakech.
Situated in a small street not far from the main square Jemaa El Fna. You can get to the main square in only 5 minutes, just go straight and it is safe to walk there in day and evening.
Mattia and Erika are very nice hosts, they are young and dynamic and do their utmost best to host the guests.
I had the room on the ground floor which was nice and confortable. I stayed for three nights and ech day they offered me tea which I really appreciated.
For sure, I will stay with them again if I come back to Marrakech and recommend this place to everybody willing to stay in the Medina.
Thanks again Mattia and Erika!
