The area where the house is nestled makes it very quiet. The neighboring houses are far enough away to maintain privacy without problems.

The only way to get to the Casa dels Molins is with own car. Cyclists can ride a bike, and there are routes for it.
Other Things to Note
At our home you will find OFFERS to perform active tourism activities: kayaking, diving, yacht rides, guided tours bikes ... Tell us what your hobby and will try to find the way that you practice in Jávea. We are from Javea and we know how to advise you to spend some great days.
The owners expect guests to be respectful with the house and with the environment. And they enjoy it as much as possible :-)
When arriving to La Casa dels Molins, we were greeted with a bottle of Cava - Spanish sparkling wine. The stay was just as nice as he last month - or even better.
Just as the last month Irene was very helpful and called us several times to ask if there was something she could do to improve our stay.
When we arrived to La Casa Dels Molins, Irene was there to welcome us and show us around the house so that we would know our way around the house, and we felt really welcome.
Irene is a very warm and caring hostess who did everything to make us feel at home - we even got a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift.
Since Irene doesn't live in the house, we really felt like we owned the house for our stay.
The house is very spacious and comfortable, with a nice fireplace that we used during the colder days - we stayed at La Casa Dels Molins in December.
We did not use the TV, but we had extensive use of the internet that worked fine all the time.
La Casa Dels Molins is in a residential area were there are no shops, but plenty of walking tracks. Only a few minutes walk from the house you will find a spectacular view over the Javea bay.
To get down to Javea village you need to take the car, a 7 minute ride, and you will find all kinds of shopping and activities, even in winter.
There only thing that could have been better was mobile phone reception, that for some reason was very weak. However, the good internet connection made it possible for us to use Skype and FaceTime when we needed to talk to friends and family.
The reservation was canceled 37 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Very nice house in calm area of "La Plana" situated above Jávea. My wife, my daughter and me stayed there for more than a month and enjoyed it a lot. Equipment: House and kitchen are well-equipped with a large fridge and freezer, nespresso coffee machine (bring enough capsules if you don't like fake capsules from the supermarkets!), dish-washer, washing machine and dryer. The pool is nice and cleaned every week or at least every second week by a pool boy. It has an outdoor shower, two sun beds but no parasol. The very large terrace has large canvas blinds so you can relax or eat in the shadow. There is also a loggia on the rear side of the house which could be a good choice in midsummer. The lawn in the garden is completely dry, you do not want to sit there. This was a bit disappointing to us. The bathroom has a nice new shower but the ventilation was broken so it was always very humid. Hot water needs a lot of time. In the kitchen we did not use it at all because you really have to wait 3 mins for it which is a massive waste of water. Instead we heated the water on the (very powerful) stove. Technology: WiFi internet works very well. The small TV in the bedroom is quite useless for foreigners as it only has local channels. The TV in the living room has satellite connection but with significant limits: you have a box with 800 unsorted channels without remote control. You only have channel up/down buttons on the box so you need to switch through 800 channels to find what you are looking for. There is a list of channels printed but many of the channels listed do not work ("no signal"). Without the remote control you have no chance to re-configure the channels. Cleanliness: OK. The house had been cleaned before we arrived but we had to clean drawers and cupboards (especially in the kitchen) again before using them. Also there was a slightly greasy layer on the not so obvious surfaces. However, that might be a matter of priorities. Initially the house had no vacuum but we asked for it and got one (even though old and with missing wheels) within a day. Location: the location and the surroundings are great but you definitely need a car. This will bring you to Jávea in 5 mins or to Dénia in 10 mins. The area is on a hill. No shop (or bakery) in walking or biking distance but there is a nice restaurant ("amanecer") with an outside bar and a public swimming pool. Surroundings: There are a lot of great possibilities for activities. There are very helpful route descriptions available in the house. The hiking trails are very nice. Due to the constant moderate breeze it could feel a bit colder than you expect, at least that was the case in May. Owner: Irene is a very helpful and...
