Recently renovated three bedroom house 16 miles from Baxter State Park and Mt. Katahdin. Quiet in-town home just around the corner from miles of snowmobile, ATV, and hiking trails, boating, fishing, cross country skiing, whitewater rafting, moose sightings and more! Close enough for a nice walk to town to enjoy shops, the local pub, restaurants, ice cream, and an art gallery. A perfect spot for a Northern Maine getaway with the conveniences and comforts of home at any time of year!

The space
Though we do have a tv, there is only access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and a dvd player supplied by us (no cable or local tv stations). And, as noted, there is only one bathroom. So, even though it's a house that sleeps 8-10, it's still a little "campy"!

For the winter months our large garage makes it easy to store multiple snowmobiles, ice fishing equipment, and cross country skis out of the elements. During warmer weather, guests may store bikes, kayaks, and canoes in the garage, as well. There is also a big backyard with a deck, fire pit, and grill.

The neighborhood is safe and quiet on the far end of town near the entrance to The Golden Road. We are within walking distance to the Katahdin General Store and just a mile from The Sawmill Bar and Grill.

During your stay

We don’t live locally, so at this point are unable to meet all of our guests in person. We are renovating the house next door, so maybe in the future we will be able to!
