This is your Montana experience in the wild out doors. During the months of November through March you May need to walk to the cabin.. We supply a sled for your luggage.
The cabin is situated in the great majestic Ponderosa pines. Home to deer, turkeys, birds. Walking distance to logging trails & state game land and Rogers Lake. Horse riding trails, hiking trails. Rogers Lake is home to loons, bald eagles, blue heron elk. 44 miles to Glacier 24 miles to whitefish 14 miles to Kalispell

The space
We have the following sleeping areas. Queen, Single, Queen Pullout Sofa Bed. Bath tub, shower, small rustic propane oven, kitchen, grill and fire pit.
Spend your days exploring Glacier National Park and your evenings relaxing on the porch. This charming trappers cabin is nestled in the ponderosa pines on Rogers Lake.
Be the hero of everyone's morning and prepare an egg and bacon breakfast in the well-equipped kitchenette or on the out door grill. Enjoy your meal at the window-lined dining area and watch for wildlife roaming the property before you head out the door to explore!
This cabin offers plenty of colorful décor, rustic features, and an open layout perfect for a small family or close group of friends.

We have horses, Goats, two dogs and barn cats on our property. There is an electric fence that keeps the dogs in their own area.

Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Whitefish Lake and Jewel Basin provide some pretty fantastic natural playgrounds for families. There is also swimming, bumper cars, horseback riding, whitewater floats and the famed Walk in the Treetops at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

•The Salish Mountains are a short drive southwest of Kalispell, just a little farther than Herron Park.
