Other things to note
We are happy to offer you to enjoy this real authentic part of Bali and being so close to the overwhelming nature.
We can discuss with how many people you like to come, because we can expand it in- or outdoors.

We can offer you activities and tours in the North of Bali. When you booked this place, we will send you all kind of information.

Because of the hight (330m above sea level) in the night it's a bit cooler then near the sea. And we do not suffer much from mosquitoes.

Sukasada, Bali, Indonesia

Although Pondok Apsari is only 15 min. drive from the city Singaraja, it is located in a very rural and authentic area. In spite of mobil phones, TV and motorbikes, many families live like 20 years ago.
It's a place with a great panoramic view. A jungle area and exiting river in a gorge with swimming spots by waterfalls is on walking distance. It is know as the Aling Aling waterfall-area.
For buying food there are some small local shops, but the choose is limited. For real shopping you can rent a car or motorbike to go to town.
There are several restaurants and local warungs on walking distance.

Karien is a Dutch artist and about 8 years ago she started to convert a virgin sawah (ricefield) in the hills above Singaraja into a tropical paradise. The place grew around a 100 years old 'lumbung/Balinese rice barn' in pillars. This unique house has a seamlessly connection between inside and outside. The swimming pool follows the shape of the sawa’s and when you swim you have a magnificent view. Karien live with her husband in another village and Pondok Apsari is managed by Ida Bagus alias Ji (Djie). He helps the guests with all they need, speaks good English. He and his family lives next doors.
