Welcome to Maurrocks - A Pocono Mountains B&B. "Relax, you're our guest!"

Near Routes 80 & 380 & State Rtes 611, 940, plus 33, it is easy & quick to get anywhere in the Poconos & nearby Lehigh Valley, Wilkes-Barre & Scranton!

The space
Our Guest Rooms are on the first floor & feature antique, Art Deco-style bedroom sets with queen-seized beds. Art Deco furniture is also featured in the shared spaces. The Red Room features and en suite private bath (shower only).

Self-serve selections available 24/7 include granola and cereals, breads, fruits, nuts, and juices, as well as coffee and tea. A full, hot breakfast is served daily. We use fresh, organic, and sustainable ingredients. We provide a toaster and microwave for our guests to share, as well as a refrigerator which you are welcome to use.

Let us know if you have particular dietary needs or preferences -- we'll try to have what you prefer on hand.

MUST LOVE DOGS.

This is our home, which we share with our three, large, friendly dogs. We'll mostly keep them on another floor during your visit (other than for their trips to the big yard to play). But they are available for play and cuddle time if you're missing your own furry friends.

Unfortunately, due to the vagaries of canine interaction, although our three are super friendly, we cannot allow guests to add their fur babies to the mix.

Guest access
We have a very large yard, two decks, and a woodsy patio to enjoy. Flowers, fruit trees, and our organic garden provide a peaceful, relaxing view.

We keep a selection of books in the rooms, but feel free to ask to browse our library for something to borrow during your stay.

Each room accommodates two people. Sorry, we do not offer the option of a cot or third person in a room.

Each of our three rooms includes a TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, AT&T TV & more.

During your stay
We love to interact with guests, if that's what you are looking for. Otherwise, we'll leave you be and respect your privacy. Tom works from home in his first floor office, so he will be around much of the time if you need anything.

Other things to note
We are avid hikers and within an hour or so of our home is some of the best hiking in the Northeast. We are happy to give you information on hiking and all of the other great activities offered by the Poconos. We've filled it with our personal recommendations of hiking opportunities, restaurants, & things to do.

Neighborhood highlights

We are very centrally located to all things Poconos. You will be less than three road miles from the casino, movie theater, miniature golf, horseback riding, a water park, and golf, to name a few. Under ten miles to skiing & hiking. A host of fine restaurants, a brew pub, the Outlets, the Antique Mall, and numerous other Pocono attractions are only minutes away. The Lehigh Valley, Scranton, and Wilkes-Barre are all about 30-45 minutes, Jim Thorpe about 40 minutes.

We live in a quiet, residential neighborhood.

We love to host. Our home is frequently the gathering place for family and neighborhood events. Both of us enjoy cooking and are skilled in preparing meals for large numbers of guests. Tom has a hospitality industry background -- he helped manage his family's Pocono resort and is a former restaurant owner. Becoming Airbnb Hosts seemed like a natural for us.
