The common house is every bit as stylish and cool as it seems in the photos. A wonderful place to call home while you're in Venice.
We've had an amazing week in the Opposite House ! Very nice place, great location, very comfortable, clean & well designed. Great host!
Great home with 2 clean, comfortable bedrooms, a charming yard, wonderful great room with a dining room table that opened to fit 10, dishwasher and a well equipped kitchen, all easy to use, bikes and great parking on the street. We shall be back! Wonderful location in Venice, convenient and quiet!
Beautiful house, great for working in and conveniently close to a Whole Foods store as well. Highly recommended.
Extremely nice home, would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Only down side is that we purchased frozen pizzas but there was not an oven. We improvised and used the toaster oven. Overall, fantasty weekend in Venice.
We had a fabulous time at Yumen's. The place is spectacular, extremely clean and in an awesome and quiet dead end street close to Venice Beach. I would jog down there in the morning and there was only one busy street to cross. Me and the kids had fun taking strolls in the morning looking at all the neighbors great landscaping. It was the first time my daughter had seen a lemon tree and she wants one! I would highly recommend this location and we will be back.
We have had a great stay.the house is realy confortable with a cool design, and all utilities!
Realy a amazing adress !
The Common House is exactly as beautiful as it looks in the photos! We wanted a place that would be comfortable and modern, and where we could have a few friends over for a small dinner party. Oh, and being close to awesome things to do like walking on Abbott Kinney or on the beach, or to Whole Foods a couple blocks away? This place has got it going ON.
Yuwen has clearly put a lot of attention into remodeling and decorating. Coordination was great, and Yuwen was kind enough to allow us an early checkin since there were no previous guests.
One thing to know: It's close to the Santa Monica municipal airport where mostly prop planes and some jets take off. It was not active during sleeping hours at all, and even during waking hours it was just fun to watch and listen. Just something to know.
Overall, Yuwen runs a very professional operation and was a great host. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Yuwen!
The Common House was fantastic. All of us were impressed. Yuwen was a great host. No complaints. The property fit 6 comfortably (1 on the couch). I'd recommend it for any group visiting the area.
The Common House was the perfect choice for a 4-night stay near Venice Beach, and short drive to everything LA has to offer. It provided plenty of room and privacy for two couples, with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Tempurpedic mattresses were an extra plus, so much that my fiance is now open to the idea of getting one eventually! The house provided everything we needed even though we didn't use them all, as we were basically using it as a crash pad. Full kitchen, laundry, cable TV and music, and bicycles among the amenities. Not only did it provide the necessities, but it also was a very cool place to hang out while we were there. The updated and modern design of the entire house was aesthetically pleasing, with windows everywhere, plenty of seating, and just a home that anyone would like to spend time in. I would be happy to come back again in the future.
