There is a large terrace on the top floor from which you can admire the city and its monuments. The kitchen is open for common use and is fully equipped with an electric oven, fridge, freezer, and an espresso machine.

Interaction with Guests
I live in the apartment so I have flexible ceck in and ceck out time!
When you will arrive I will be at home to give you the keys of the apartment and of your room, also I will give you a small map of the city, and if you want i will give you some tips about the city (where you can eat for a cheap price, main street market and main monument you can visit in the city center)!
Our apartment is in the heart of the old part of the city, that's the reason because I always suggest to visit the city by foot. In 5 minutes by foot you can walk through the street market of Ballarò, (that is one of the ancient e and biggest markets of the city) and see his gorges colors, you can reach the nice boulevard of the port (I love to see the sunrise there!); you also should see Botanic Garden (12 minute walking), and Piazza Marina where is the the oldest and biggest Ficus three of Italy; you can also visit the gourges fountain of Piazza Pretoria (Fontana Pretoria o della Vergogna). In a walking distance I think you should see Palatin chapel (that is inside Royal Palace) with its very bright mosaics; or if you like horror and weird stuff you will appreciate the Catacomb of Cappuccini.
Also city center is famous for street food, you can have a big Arancina at bar Touring (close to the port) or eat a super delicious "panino panelle e crocchè" ( a typical sandwich) at the famous hosteria " nni Franco u vastiddaro for a really cheap price. You can also have lunch at Zia Pina where you can choose your fish and they will cook it for you! But if you are tired if you'd like, on request, I can prepare dinner for you ( just you should book it during the morning) and you can have dinner on the terrace!
The apartment is located near Piazza Julio Cesare, the central train station and bus terminal in Palermo, which is connected to all the main streets of the city, but with train or busses you can also easily reach some small nice town close to Palermo as Cefalù (that's my favorite!), a small meddle age city on the beach that you can reach in 50 minute with train.
Getting to the airport Falcone e Borsellino reach the apartment is very simple.
If you don't have car:
There are 3 solutions
1) Take a taxi cost is around 40 euros
2) Take the train from the airport (Punta Raisi) to the central station (Piazza Giulio Cesare) the cost is 5.8 euros
3) Take a bus from the airport arrives in Piazza Giulio Cesare the cost is about EUR 6
Once you arrive in Piazza Giulio Cesare can reach the apartment on foot is about 6 minutes.

For late arrival, I may serve a simple dinner upon request from you by email in advance (price is 15 euro per person)
Be respectful of other guests in the apartment. To leave in order the kitchen if you want to use it for lunch or dinner. If you fall into the night trying not to mess that up. They are simple rules that will make your stay and that of others more enjoyable!
Noemi is a wonderful host and supreme baker. The room was exactly as described, clean and in an excellent location. Noemi was very accomodating and has excellent knowledge of Palermo and Sicily.
It's difficult to imagine a host better than Noemi. Generous with her time; her cooking and baking skills (the most remarkable cakes in Palermo); her recommendations for restaurants and trips outside of the city; her patience (she had eight gentlemen in her flat for almost a week) and, finally, her gin. Noemi knows her home city like the back of her hand and can suggest any number of places to go and see. So if you stay here, you will barely need a guide book. You will, however, need a hearty appetite and, if possible, an encyclopaedic knowledge of Downton Abbey. After that nothing can go wrong.
We had three simple, but spotless rooms, with comfortable beds and each with their own bathroom. The flat is only five minutes walk from the station, and just around the corner from the Ballaro market which has amazing fish, which we cooked on Noemi's barbecue on the amazing terrace. The picture of the view does it justice and in the other direction you can see the harbour. Being central, the traffic is loud, but that's the price you pay for the location. There is, though, a room towards the back which is quieter.
In sum, thoroughly recommended, there's no need to look further in Palermo and you'll think yourself fortunate for having enjoyed Noemi's company.
Noemi is a great host and we are amazed by her cooking too, very reasonable price for the dinner she cooked for us and more importantly the food is very delicious. We would like to also thank her for the private car service she has arranged for us and Mario is a great driver.
Thank you for making our first trip to Palermo a great one, GRAZIE!
We really enjoyed staying at Noemi's: the room was big and clean, the flat on the top floor of a very central "palazzo", with a beautiful terrace. Noemi gave us a lot of helpful tips on where to go and what to see in Palermo, and she prepared a fantastic breakfast with her homemade cakes! Her joyful and discrete presence made our stay in Palermo really enjoyable, grazie Noemi!
