Erin and Dave were beyond PHENOMENAL. My boyfriend and I have just relocated to Bend and stayed with Erin and Dave when we first arrived in town. They were both so flexible with our plans, understanding and encouraging. They are two of the most generous and genuine people!
My boyfriend was having car trouble; Dave and Erin went above and beyond to help us out, give us suggestions, and open their home to us. The bed was comfortable and the time we got to spend with Erin and Dave was lovely!
We hope to keep in touch with them and would encourage ANYONE to stay with them and have a chat! Thanks for everything Erin and Dave!
We had a lovely stay at Erin's. She & her husband, Dave, were incredible hosts - friendly, gracious, & very welcoming. Gave us ideas for hiking in the area. Everything was clean, great bed, lovely home outside of downtown area. We really enjoyed our stay!
Super nice hosts! We really enjoyed staying there and would stay with Erin & Dave again in the future. Location is very convenient, near downtown Redmond....our doggy had a GREAT time with their two pouches!
Erin and Dave (And their two delightful dogs-Aiden and Ruby) were great! They made my dog and I feel very welcome, the room was cozy, they had helpful advice on good places to go in the area, and let me crash their BBQ :).
I had a terrific stay at Erin's lovely home. She and her husband are excellent hosts and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
Erin and Dave, Ruby and Aiden (the last 2 are dogs) were great hosts. They were flexible with us on arrival time and sharing of their beautiful home which is located in a pleasant residential neighborhood. Erin and Dave busy and full of energy and optimism and they took the time to get to know my son and I. The dogs are delightful company as well and accepted us right into their household. In all, I was made to feel as an honored visiting member of their family. They are comfortable to be around, hospitable and not controlling. I enjoyed speaking with them about life experiences and sitting around in lounging furniture and standing in the kitchen sharing their beer and stories. Erin and Dave are interesting people and have many adventure stories to share. Our room was quiet and cozy and the bed was soft and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked and the very fresh eggs from their own chickens were delicious and plentiful. Erin encouraged us to use their food as we needed. The large garage was perfect for bike storage while we were up skiing on the mountain. I also enjoyed the books including bathroom material such as "Stuff White People Like" which was hilarious. I recommend this room and the hosts highly and have absolutely no complaints.
We had a really great stay at Erin and Dave's place. We only had a chance to meet Dave, since we had a very busy schedule while in town, but he was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The house, our room and bathroom were all very clean and comfortable. The dogs were friendly and quiet. The only drawback -- really, this is the *only* thing -- is that the mattress sags in the middle quite a bit and was rather uncomfortable. But other than that, everything about this place was fantastic.
I am an easygoing young professional. I live with my husband, Dave, and our two dogs. We moved to Central Oregon because we wanted to be in the mecca of outdoor adventures. We love everything that Redmond has to offer; our dogs enjoy running with us on the miles of single track near our house, we practice our kayak rolls in the Deschutes 5 minutes away, and we have the ability to be skiing in the backcountry within a half hour's drive. We are lovers of beer, and would love to share some of our homebrew with our guests. We are happy to share our home with you, and can help direct you to some of the local treasures. Dogs are welcome, so long as they aren't diggers (we have chickens in the backyard.) Feel free to email with any questions!
