Charming bed and breakfast in the San Clemente neighborhood of (website hidden), wireless Internet, Netflix, Roku, Pandora, microwave, mini-fridge, ironing, (laundry available for a small fee).
Daily breakfast, including fresh eggs from our chickens.
Thank you so much for your welcoming comfortable space. I loved feeling the flow of your family around us while we felt a sense of privacy at the same time. It was the perfect place to land for a few days with my 8 year old grandson. --Kathy
I text Sabrina and Joey when we left the airport and Sabrina was there waiting to meet us. We had a comfortable room and a very lovely breakfast each morning. We were close to hiking, downtown and several of the local hot spots. The add was as listed and our host were very gracious.
This is a great little cottage place to stay. Sabrina was flexible regarding our arrival time and made us feel welcome when we got there. The cottage is small, but clean. The bed is a foam type mattress and was comfortable. Sabrina made us a wonderful breakfast and brought it on a tray. It was a quiet neighborhood even though it is close to down town and a short distance to the airport.
Joey and Sabrina were gracious and kindly hosts. Their casita is located in a quiet, charming residential neighborhood where lovely cactus species approach tree-height; it’s a convenient drive to restaurants, malls, etc., as well as downtown Tucson.
Our review is influenced by the fact that we paid $100 on top of the standard $68 per night rental fee, presumably occasioned by the Tucson Gem Show. Having paid $168 for each of the three February nights we were there, we were no doubt expecting more, such as:
- a larger heater that would have more adequately warmed the room
- a winter-weight comforter on the bed
-a working hot-water tap on the bathroom sink (the room itself was always warm and cozy); the cold-water tap was leaking and also needed some attention
- a bathtub securely fastened to the floor so that it does not rock while you are standing in it showering
Joey and Sabrina are well on their way to establishing a great bnb. We wish them continued success.
Everything about my stay was wonderful - thank you Sabrina and Joey! Being in town on business, I was not very present at the house, but when I was there, I loved it. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was huge, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. This truly felt like a home away from home. I was able to get a great night's rest each night, which helped as I worked some long hours.
Thank you again for a great week and a lasting memory!
Very welcoming and friendly hosts. The room exceeded both expectations and description. Very comfortable bed, well stocked (with great book selection) nightstands and plenty of room for two.
Nice private bathroom with good water pressure and temp in the shower. Great towels and well supplied with soaps, shampoos, and other items in case you have forgotten something.
I went out for morning coffee, but they have a coffee maker in the bathroom with creamers, coffee, filters etc.
Breakfast was a highlight. Eggs to order from the resident chickens, great fruit smoothies and a choice of several other options like pancakes, yogurt, toast and beverages. Really, really liked the breakfast and it is deliver to your door by a smiling Sabrina at the time that you have requested.
A great touch.
Checking in and out was breeze. Excellent location and value.
Many thanks to our hosts for making this a friendly and very comfortable stay.
The place was very charming and disconnected from the house. Everyone was very nice and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Will definitely stay there again.
