We are located just 2 minutes from the center of Santa Elena near to the supermarket and the station bus is also a great place to rest away but the noise near the center. Monteverde is good nice and cheap
Really nice and clean place. Really central but just a bit asside so you dont have much noise. Really nice people ready to help you. I recommend.
The place is great. Just as described in the listing. The hosts are very nice. They also have lots of offerings in terms of tours and things to do. There's a nice breakfast every morning. A private room that I got was very clean and cozy. I would recommend this place for staying because it is a reasonable price for the quality and it's only 3 min walking from the center of Santa Elena.

Marlenny and Freddywere absolutely great hosts. The accomadtions were just what we needed. The room was quite spacious and had a private bathroom. It was a short, short walk to the heart of the great little, hilly town. The breakfast there was delicious and freshly cooked whenever we requested during breakfast hours. My son loved the bunk beds, especially since he had it all to himself. The temperature inside was comfortable. A couple nicely priced "sodas" around to eat and Marlenny was happy to help with any advice or questions. Even though Freddy did not speak much english he was very helpful too. He even took us to the shuttle station they arranged for us which was much cheaper than any else found online. Everything worked out well here. I definitely recommend.
Marlenny and Freddy were wonderful hosts in Monteverde. We really enjoyed our time at their hostel. Our room was just what my friend and I needed and we loved the delicious breakfast and coffee every morning! Freddy was extremely helpful when we arrived and booked our zip lining, coffee plantation, and night walk tours. He also offered lots of advice on where to eat and other fun things to do while visiting Monteverde. The hostel was close to the center of town but a little off the beaten path which we loved. The staff at Hostel Cabinas El Pueblo was wonderful also, especially the girl who cooked and cleaned! I would definitely recommend staying with Marlenny and Freddy if you visit Monteverde - my friend Jess and I would stay with them again in a heartbeat!! Thank you!!
Cabinas El Pueblo provided us with a private room & bath at a remarkable value. The room, bathroom, and common areas were all very clean. We ate breakfast once, and although there are fancier restaurants in Santa Elena, it's hard to beat the convenience and economy of the all-included breakfasts on the premise. They were kind enough to keep our valuables in a safe for us while we explored the region, and tolerated our bumbling attempts to speak Spanish with infinite patience and good humor (almost all of the staff with whom we interacted spoke better English than our Spanish, we had no trouble communicating anything we needed). We wouldn't have been able to afford to extend our trip into the Monteverde region without the excellent prices they offer- and our brief time in the mountains was the highlight of our trip. We look forward to returning to the Monteverde region in the future.
