We contacted Nellie as soon as we arrived Nairobi and she directed us to her house, very welcoming lady in a nice apartment located in a very good and secure upperclass neibourhood. The connection clicked instantly with Nellie after a few hours took off to out appointments in Nairobi. We had estimated staying in Nairobi for a month and had booked her apartment for a month, but we're able to finish all the business in one day. We were concerned that Airbnb wouldn't refund the money, but Nellie was so nice that she refunded all the money and we were not charged at all. If you are going to Nairobi, try her. Very grounded lady and caring, we now communicate on a regular basis and now consider her my family now . Nellie thank you! I will only book your apartment when in Nairobi..

Nellie was an absolute delight during our stay in her home! I traveled to Nairobi with my mother, and she made us feel like we were part of her family. Her home was immaculately kept. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. A housekeeper comes to the house several times during the week. For a small cost, the housekeeper even washes and irons clothes. Nellie went over and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time in Nairobi. She offered recommendations for our itinerary and we used a reliable taxi driver for our week-long visit. She also cooked a delicious Kenyan meal for us for a very reasonable cost. We have a new family member! I'll always stay with her while in Nairobi.

Nellie was a very good host! Our stay, even thug short (two nights), was pleasant and confortable. Her place si cozy and clean. She is very helpful with tips and things to do. She also help us finding a great taxi company to move us around Nairobi and pick us up from the airport. If by any chance Nellie hires the same company, try to ask for Oliver as your driver, He is awesome as well. Nairobi is a really big city and with chaotic traffic; it is not easy to move around, we strongly suggest you find someone to move you around. Nellie's place has a great, safe and peaceful location; but we decided to use the recommended cab company instead of walking around and finding matatus.

Nellie was a wonderful host. She organized out airport pick up and all travel within Nairobi. She lives in a wonderful gated community in a safe and charming home. Nellie has two guest rooms that she rents. Both share a common bathroom in the hallway. Nellie ensured that we safely traveled within the city. Ingredients for a breakfast were provided to us but not the cooked breakfast itself. Nellie gave us access to the fridge and kitchen, pots and pans, we made our own breakfast and cleaned up as well. We had a good stay in Nairobi.

I enjoy cooking great family meals, in fact, if you choose to stay with me - you can count on being invited to join a lovely Sunday traditional Kenyan spread with my 3 and 7 year old grand kids (with their parents of course, I am not that crazy!). When I am not spoiling my grand …
