Airbnb-verified stand 190 square foot cottage (120 sq ft first floor, 70 sq ft sleeping loft), with plumbed kitchen and bathroom. Relax and make yourself at home in this just completed (Feb 2019) tiny house with the most beautiful panoramic views on the property of downtown Dallas. Park for free in circular drive of the main house, a 3600 square foot Mid-Century Modern Style Home, then enter the side yard, to your own little oasis. While staying, you have full access to the grounds.

The space
Nestled in a safe, centrally located neighborhood with the best that Dallas has to offer just a few minutes away, this Magical Tiny House Cottage is located on a two story deck in the backyard of a Fabulous Mid Century Modern home located on a quiet residential street with the shops and restaurants of Bishop Arts District, Trinity Groves, Sylvan-Thirty, Victory Park, Downtown Dallas, Klyde Warren Park, and Uptown just minutes away. With quick access to several major highways, guests are 16 miles from Arlington - AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park. Guests will have their own private Guest House with a Queen size bed in the loft with a fully functional plumbed full wet room style bathroom with walk-in shower. The bed loft is complete with a queen size bed and flatscreen TV with Amazon Firestick and Hulu. The cottage will easily accommodate two guests, and the living are seating area can double as a twin size bed. An Air mattress can be provided upon request. Guests will have full access to the outdoor areas with grill. You can relax while sleeping under the stars as you enjoy the loft view or step outside your front door onto the large deck with outstanding views of Dallas’ Santiago Calatrava designed bridges and spectacular fall views of Downtown Dallas.

Guest access
You will have access to park in the circular driveway in front of the home. Guests are welcome to access the deck/patio to cook, lounge, and relax . Complimentary coffee, tea, and filtered water are provided. The guest tiny house cottage will only be used by you during your stay. Guests will not have access to the main house, with exceptions made on a case by case basis.

Other things to note
The guest house is yours alone, however the deck in sits own (and the rest of the outdoor space) is used by the main house family and AirBnb guests. If you leave, be sure to lock the door of the Cottage and lock the side gate (entrance to backyard). I do not have any outdoor pets, however there are several neighbors cats that cut through my backyard on their way home. You might also see owls, coyotes, possums, raccoons, hawks, bats, blue-jays, redbirds, mockingbirds (Texas State Bird), and many other.

Additionally, we have one short haired domestic cat living in the main house. You will not see her, unless she is lounging in the window.

Nestled among rolling hills, lush landscape and towering trees, near the Trinity River, this park setting provides guests with a taste of original Dallas which is the attraction for many visitors to Dallas. This neighborhood is also home to its own neighborhood golf course owned by the City of Dallas - Stevens Park Golf Course. The area also houses some of Dallas' oldest homes built as far back as the 1920's, so true lovers of architecture, can spend an afternoon driving around looking at the diversity of architecture whether it be old school like Tudor or Craftsman, or new like Modern and Contemporary.

During your stay
We do live on the property and understand you are here for a vacation (or work, or just to get-a-way. We will respect your privacy as we also expect you will respect ours. We are available 24 hours via phone/text, for emergencies, and happy to give recommendations for food and fun things to do locally. If we are hanging out on the deck, feel free to grab a drink and join us! We are very social and enjoy getting to know our guests. We also respect our guests privacy, so for those that prefer their own space and prefer to keep to the Tiny House Cottage, and to themselves that is completely fine as well.
