My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at this home! The privacy was perfect and the views from the backyard were just stunning. I would recommend this listing to anyone traveling to West Ireland. Our hosts were so warm and our experience was absolutely lovely.
Great place to stay and the perfect base for day trips. Everything you need is available in the house and it was presented very accurately in the pictures. All communication was prompt and helpful. Would happily stay here again!
Our five days on the goat farm were truly wonderful. It's only a three hour drive from Dublin, and close enough to Galway and other parts of the West for day trips, but rural enough to really relax. The house was superb - impeccably clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The farm was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Gabrielle and Victor have thought of everything, and we felt completely welcomed. We highly recommend the goat farm, and would happily stay there again.
Victor and Gabriele were absolutely fantastic. After arriving late (yours truly locked the keys in the car) Victor was waiting patiently and we soon felt completely relaxed.
The cottage has an amazing waterfront position with an ever change tidal vista. The rooms were warm on arrival, beds comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with eggs, bacon, cheese, meats , fruit, bread, juice, plunger coffee , milk, jams etc.
Victor and Gabriele went well beyond what we expected with the accommodation and their helpful advice. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and if returning to Ireland would choose to stay longer.
This is a truly wonderful space & we had a perfect time here. Sitting on your couch you are mere metres from the Atlantic with a view to die for, we could (and did!) happily spend hours just looking out the window at the water & the tides. The house is in the middle of the Burren and only a few minutes drive from some truly spectacular sea scapes and beaches. The house itself is warm, comfortable, well equipped and just a lovely place to spend time, we couldn't have asked for more. Icing on the cake - the wonderful hospitality of Victor & Gabrielle who provided eggs from their own hens, home made ginger bread, bread, milk. Everything you'd need for breakfast and snacks basically! We loved it here, couldn't recommend it more as a spot to get away from the world and we will be back.
