The Neighborhood

There are many tourist attractions such as Jameson Distillery and National Museum, Collins Barracks along with the famous Cobblestone Bar, renowned for irish music and a good pint of Guinness, right at your doorstep! There is lots of public transport nearby however you are within walking distance of pretty much everything and so shouldn't really need to use public transport. 10/15 minutes of Trinity college, O'Connel street, Guinness, Jameson, st. • Emily was a very lovely host at the room was wonderful. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night, but we would have loved to stay longer and explore the area and get to know Emily. If we are ever in Dublin again, we will definitely stay in this room. It was in a great location, nearby the city center but not noisy. Very clean, plenty of space in the house to move around. Would highly recommend.

  • Emily was great. She was nice, accommodating, and very helpful. Her place is just a short walk from the Guinness Factory and not too far from downtown.

  • Emily's room in Dublin was the perfect starting point for our trip to Ireland. It's in the perfect location near everything, but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep after a busy day. Antony was also a very welcoming host and greeted us with a smile every morning. Emily was so much fun to chat with and her recommendations for things to see and do, and places to eat and drink were spot on! We will definitely call on her again when we find ourselves in Dublin.

  • I had a very pleasant stay at Emily's home. She is relaxed and you feel welcomed. Anthony is lovely (and quiet ;)) dog. 15min walking distance from Temple Bar. Also nice small restaurants around the house.

  • We had a very nice stay with Emily. The room's very cozy and as described. Anthony's adorable. Emily was nice, and very responsive. The day before we arrived, she emailed us with all the information about interesting places around her house, and her contact information. She also made sure we have all the privacy we needed.
Location wise, it's about 15-20 minutes walk to town center. However, there's a red hop-on hop-off bus stop within 5 minutes walk.

    Response from Emily:

Hey, Norm. Pity about that. In all my time of doing Air BNB which is very different from BnB I have never not once received a bad review. Very few people who do Air bnb provide breakfast by the way.

I take on board the teabags comment and replaced them straight away once I noticed. Anyway enjoy the rest of your trip. E

  • We thoroughly enjoying our stay at Emily's place. Strategically located not far from parks, museums and out of the way pubs. Emily was an enthusiastic font of knowledge of where to go and what to see. Clean and safe accommodation. Highly recommend.

  • Our experience with Emily started even before we left the States! Emily e-mailed us a great letter about everything and anything we needed to know about the area we were staying in. She gave clear instructions and price ranges for how to reach her flat as well as tourist attractions, restaurants, and pubs she recommended. She even let us know where we could hear the best live music!

Upon arrival, Emily was welcoming and friendly. She showed us around and then chatted with us awhile about our trip, her life, and the city. She was in for the night, but seemed like she would have been a great person to go out to a pub with if we had stayed longer!

The room was very cozy. It just made us feel like we were at home. The bed was so comfortable and the room had a nice window we could open to enjoy the great weather we had. There was plenty of room to hang clothes and store luggage and still be able to move around with ease. The bathroom is down the stairs from your room, but it was never a problem. The shower was very nice, warm and good water pressure!

Emily did show us where we could make coffee and tea whenever we wanted and said we could help ourselves to cereals for breakfast in the morning. However, we did not part take, just because we were running out early in the AM.

Overall, Emily was a blast to stay with! Next time we're in Dublin, we hope that we can stay longer and spend some time out on the town with her.
