As part of a european trip with my father, we stayed at Katina's apartment for one night. She was not present upon our arrival, but sent all of the contact information of a friend to give us access (no problems, there). The apartment was beautifully decorated with all the amenities one would need for even a long-stay. In addition, it was located right in the old town. It was a good stay!
And to Tobi, the friend, thank you very much for calling a Taxi for us! We made the train with about 15 seconds to spare!
The location is outstanding and the ambiance is charming
Both Katina and her friend Frank were very kind. Everything went smoothly and the appartement was perfect for our purpose. In particular, we liked the location: very central in the old city, but nevertheless quiet and with a great view from the living room. Moreover, it was convenient to have things in the kitchen like coffee available. So we felt very much like home in this nicely decorated flat. The only minor disadvantage was the somewhat disturbing noise from guests of the neighbouring guesthouse at about 1am on a friday night.
Great thanks to Katina and her hospitality! We were on the way home and needed a place for only one night in Heidelberg, booking was made rather late, same day as we came. However Katina was very nice to host us and her reply was fast. I greatly appreciate her readiness for such unexpected guests as we were, and can say only the best about her and her apartment. The place is so comfortable and cosy, and Katina has very good sense of style. Our stay in Heidelberg, though so short, left us good memories.
Thanks, Adel! The last minute booking actually worked out really well for me as I had a last minute cancelation. So it was a real win-win situation. Frank, who looks after my flat, made sure to let me know that you left it in a great condition. You are welcome back anytime!
