From start to finish, I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Marrakech than this listing I arranged a transfer from the airport was met by a very welcoming driver. Upon being dropped off at Jemaa El Fnaa, I was met by Jalil, the listing's manager (Leila was out of town during my stay) and he walked me to the riad giving a great orientation to the area. Once we arrived to raid, we sat and enjoyed some mint tea and cookies. Jalil arranged a day excursion to Ourika (Berber village and cascades hike in the Atlas mountains), and was always available for questions or ideas about what to do or where to go. Hassan works the night shift and breakfast. He is an excellent host and makes an excellent breakfast. The Nacre room was exactly as pictured. Beautiful and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this place and in the Nacre room to anyone visiting Marrakech. Honestly couldn't get a better location, right off Jemaa El Fnaa and close to some great souks. The area is quiet, even though it is in the heart of Marrakech.
We had a wonderful stay in Marrakech, which wouldn't have been nearly as memorable if we did not have such great accommodations! The staff was very professional and attentive, and our room was lovely. We were greeted with mint tea and freshly made cookies when we arrived, and provided a large (and delicious) breakfast on the roof/balcony every morning. The location was perfect - just a short two minute walk to the main square and tucked away enough to have some peace and quiet after a long day. Thank you ladies, and we will be back!
