One of the highlights of our short holiday in Winnipeg was the awesome warm welcome of Andrea and Jorge. Their apartment unit was cozy, comfortable, tidy and my family felt like we are in our own home. they equipped us with everything we need like toiletries, blankets and beddings and kitchen utensils and cookwares. They even lend us airbags for our two kids. Everything was a package.
By the way, the apartment's location is very accessible to groceries, bus stops and banks that made our stay easy and convenient.
Andrea is wonderful! Very attentive and helpful. We had originally booked for 7 weeks but then ended up telling Andrea that we were leaving a week early due to a scheduling change. We did not ask for a refund, but Andrea kindly reimbursed us for the unused days.
The location is great. It's a short walk into Osborne Village where you can find tons of restaurants and cafes. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to a grocery store.
The apartment itself is small but the space is very efficiently organized. It is more than enough space for two people to stay comfortably for a few days to a few weeks. It has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the building is quiet.
The only limitation was that the apartment was very hot, which was beyond the control of the owners of the condo because the heating is controlled by the owner of the building. Nevertheless, Andrea was very concerned and she contacted the building owner to ask them to lower the heat and followed up several time to check how we were doing.
If you are a light sleeper, this location may not be ideal because it's situated at a busy road that approaches a busy intersection. It quiets down after around 11pm but up until then buses and cars regularly go right by the apartment.
Overall, it was perfect for what we needed and the location couldn't be better.
Andrea and her husband were extremely accommodating and understanding. They were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was beautiful and clean and the area the apartment is in has so many great places to eat and shop.
A delightful place, charming as well as comfortable. Andrea, our hostess, is very friendly and helpful. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Winnipeg. Thank you!
This 1 bedroom apartment was ideal for our recent stay in Winnipeg. It is very clean and comfortable and looks just as it is advertised. Andrea and Jorge were there to welcome us on arrival at our agreed time and were very friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. They provided a lot of information about the area and the suite. The building is very quiet and secure. They provided a good wifi connection and cable tv and local phone service. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook as much you would want (which we originally planned on doing), but there ended up being so many awesome selections to dine out at in the area. There were a lot of places (dining and shopping) to go within walking distance. The location was central and convenient for us to get to all areas of the city we visited, ie East Kildonan, St Vital, south Pembina, Polo Park and airport area, to name a few. We were extremely pleased with our stay and highly recommend this listing to anyone visiting Winnipeg.
My wife and I spent 5 days in Andrea's comfortable apartment. It had every convenience and a well equipped kitchen. Included were a telephone for unlimited local calls and a WI-FI hotspot. We really liked the location in fashionable Little Italy, adjacent to the Osborne Village. Andrea and Jorge went out of their way to help us in every way. We definitely recommend this apartment and will definitely use it again in the future.
This place was amazing.. exactly what I was looking for.. a quiet place with a good internet connection so I could work...
Andrea and Jorge were very friendly and helpful.. they prepared a map with the location of all we could possible need nearby.
We stayed on their place while searching for a long-term place to rent in the city and both Andrea and Jorge were very helpful showing us which regions were the best ones to rent and giving valuable advice for us on what to look for.
The place is very well located, a few steps from the bus stop and a short walk distance from downtown, supermarkets and a lot of good restaurants.
This was our first time experience with AirBnb.. and we loved
We travel lots. We ourselves look for temporary places here and there, and know how well it feels to find the right one. Based on our experience, we are now offering this very nice and comfortable one-bedroom apartment for short rental stays right in Winnipeg. It is nicely furnished and excellently maintained, nested in a clean, secure and quiet building. Its location is great as well, steps away from Confusion Corner, in the reknown Corydon-Osborne neighbourhood.
