Awesome, amazing.... I can't find other words to describe how is living with Laura!
She is the perfect host, because when live with her it's like to live with your family.
Kind, nice, cheerful this are only three adjective that I can use to describe Laura... When I left my city, to move in NYC, my fear was that I didn't know who I had met...
But I met a sister... Laura
The apartment is perfect, there are all the comforts that you want, close at subway (N - Q line 10 minutes from the center of the cities), always clean, the neighborhood is quiet, and store e supermarket are close.
If something asked me where he could live in NYC... I wish I could say in Laura's House!
Laura was a very nice host. Her place was very clean...a refuge from the dirty streets of the city. There were real hardwood floors throughout the living space, and they gleamed. Artwork covered most of the wall space, which I liked. The room I stayed in was a good size and comfortable. On the nights when the small but powerful radiator put out too much heat, I was able to compensate by opening the window a little. There was plenty of space to put all of my belongings. The twin-size futon was pretty comfortable to sleep on, and the sheets were nice and clean. Laura had a section of the bathroom cabinet set aside for me to put my personal items. The shower had good water pressure. The only downside I can think of is the noise from the busy street below. Garbage trucks, taxis, trains, and other traffic all made their fair contribution to the noise pollution. I took the train, which is just a few short blocks away, into the city daily. While I stayed at Laura's, I spent most of my waking hours at work. As a result, I didn't see her that often. However, the few times I happened to catch Laura sitting at the table, I did have some in depth conversations with her that were very interesting and thought provoking. That's one of the things I enjoy about airbnb...getting to meet people like Laura. I'm thankful she was willing to open up her home to me for my brief stay. I actually would have stayed there longer, had it not already been reserved.
I'm an artist and run my art institution in Long Island City, NY. I am female in my 30's, super open-minded and enjoy other people. I spend my free time working on my art, hanging out with friends, hanging out with my dogs, reading great books, discovering new restaurants/bars, and checking out new places to travel.
