Are you ready to leave your home for a getaway near the beach? Our cozy studio with a private entrance is located in a quiet neighborhood, 1 mile from East Matunuck State Beach and within walking distance of one of the most popular farm/pond-to-table restaurant-Matunuck Oyster Bar. Enjoy the local restaurants, walk along our beautiful beach, visit Block Island, Newport, Watch Hill or Mystic. We are 15 minutes from the University of RI - Enjoy a sports event or visit with your children or friend.

The space
The studio is cozy and comfortable and is located above our garage with a private entrance and small deck overlooking our gardens. The room features high ceilings, oversized windows with room darkening shades, kitchenette and bathroom. Also includes a queen size bed, walk-in shower, leather reading chair, loveseat, 43” television with Direct TV, Free HBO, Apple TV, Netflix, HBO Max & Amazon Prime. Outside deck furniture (available in the Spring, Summer & Early Fall). Compact refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and hot water maker with coffee/tea, toaster, convection oven, electric griddle, counter top induction cooking burner, microwave, a few pans, blender and continental breakfast. NOTE: Studio does not have stove.
We supply all bedding, towels, shampoo/conditioner & body washes, hair dryer, dinnerware and utensils.
In the summer there are beach supplies available at the bottom of the stairs: chairs, towels, boogie boards, cooler and umbrella. We also have bikes available.
We just built an outside shower with rain shower head. Enjoy taking a shower in the sunshine. Shower is completely private.
We are a non-smoking and pets are not allowed - providing a great place for people with allergies. We do have two golden retrievers (Lexie & Milo) in our home but they are never in the studio and we keep them away from our guests - unless the guests ask to see or pet them.
When you stay with us, you will have total privacy.

We want you to know that we are doing our part to help our guests stay safe by taking extra care to clean and disinfect our studio due to COVID-19.

We live in a quiet neighborhood with the East Matunuck State Beach a mile from the studio. Restaurants: Matunuck Oyster Bar ( 1/2 mile from studio), Captain Jacks, Jim’s Dock and Skip’s Cafe are located near the studio as well.

Denise worked as a Director of Operations for a family business in Providence. Her desire to begin a B and B service came to life when many of her friends and family members stayed in the studio and said it would make a great beach and winter get-away for all to enjoy.

Ray owned a family-owned retail business until it was closed and sold in May. He currently works full-time and is looking forward to this new adventure and the people we will meet.

Both of us are very experienced in customer service. We both have outgoing personalities and Ray has a great sense of humor.

We are available anytime for questions or information regarding the studio and area attractions (just knock on our door or send us an email or text). We provide a simple continental breakfast (like bagels, English muffins, yogurt and fruit) and some afternoon treats that you can prepare for yourselves. Water, coffee, tea, creamers and sweeteners are always there for you. We respect your privacy and want you to have an enjoyable stay. There is a luggage rack in the closet to store your luggage. At check out, please turn AC off and leave used towels in bathroom. Please respect our studio! We take pride in offering a very clean home away from home!
