We enjoyed our stay at Tea’s. Communication was easy prior to our visit and getting into her place when we arrived was no problem. Soft music and a decanter of wine welcomed us on arrival. The house was clean and well supplied, including extra’s like coffee and other food supplies to get our visit off to an easy start. The beds are comfortable and the area is residential and quiet at night. Our daughter lives nearby and had a car but there appears to be excellent access to buses to all areas of Philadelphia and there are restaurants and stores within walking distance. We definitely plan to stay with Tea again the next time we visit Philadelphia.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Lovely Vintage House. Although the weather was bitter cold in mid-February, the house kept us warm and cozy. We found everything we needed, including coffee to get us started in the morning. The location was highly convenient to visit the string of art museums that line Ben Franklin Parkway. We also found a number of excellent restaurants in the Fairmont neighborhood. In addition, the multiple bus lines at our doorstep were frequent and punctual, making it possible to easily visit much of the Center City and Old City areas without having to transfer. So having found a convenient parking place half a block down the street when we arrived Saturday afternoon, we left the car there until it was time to return home two days later.
Myself and a few friends stayed at Tea's house to celebrate a birthday in the city. We had a wonderful time. The house was cozy and clean. The location is great and the neighborhood is safe. Tea made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. I would recommend this spot to anyone interested in visiting Philadelphia.
My family and I stayed at Tea's house for a late holiday get-together. Everyone loved the house - clean, comfortable and charming - the perfect spot to explore Philly's Fairmount neighborhood from, or just to stay home on a rainy day and relax. Tea made us feel welcomed from the beginning - the little touches were really special (decanted wine, soft jazz playing on the radio when we arrived). It is a great spot for adults, but also very child-friendly - plenty of toys and books to entertain my 2 year old nephew. I live in Philly, and will definitely recommend Tea's house to friends looking for a spot to host visiting family - those new to the city will find it the perfect place to explore the city from.
We stayed in Tea's house during our visit to Philadelphia to enroll our son in college. The house was warm and comfortable and the amenities offered - tea, coffee, eggs, toast, WIFI and a host of other things - made us feel at home. The location is convenient to restaurants and an easy walking distance to attractions. We will definitely make it a destination on a future visit to Philly.
