Tea took initiative with communication and was very prompt at responding. The neighbourhood was really nice and in walking distance to lots of parks and museums. The house itself was great - more spacious than expected, well furnished, lots of seating area, and nice kitchen. There's only one bathroom so if you are travelling with a big group then expect to share. All the accommodations were lovely, and I especially appreciated the little placards with internet and password displayed throughout the house.
We loved staying at Tea's house. The house was even better than the photos. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and had everything that we needed. Tea brought us bread and coffee, and check-in and check-out was very easy. The neighborhood is nice, and there is a park nearby if you are coming with children. Tea also had a basket of toys and a few kids books. There is a Whole Foods nearby, some good coffee shops and restaurants, and it's a short walk to the art museum.
Tea made me feel incredibly welcome and made the arrival, stay and check out super easy! Her home is beautiful and the moment I walked in I felt happy and at ease. I was getting married the next day and had a few friends from out of town over to have snacks and a toast, go out for dinner (there's a great byob down the street), and sleep over while my husband-to-be had a low key night at home with his friends (we live in Philly). I just got married so my mind is a blur and my weekend was full and I can't remember everything I loved and wanted to say. Since I'm a local I know the area well. Street parking was a breeze. The accommodation was private and had everything we could possibly need. It was a shame we only needed one night because it's just so lovely. It's the kind of place I'd not only recommend to friends who are savvy airBnBers but to host family from out of town as well. Thank you for everything, Tea!
Lovely home! We enjoyed neighborhood as well. We will consider staying here again next trip to Phila.
Gaining entrance to the house was so easy with that lockbox because our arrival time kept getting pushed up, and thus, we didn't have to worry about meeting up our hosts (which, btw, we never did). The house was immaculate and the bed sheets were pristine (this counts big time for me), plenty of towels, sundries, etc. Although we used nothing (very busy) there were condiments, tea/coffee set up, bread/butter for toast (oh, we had that-thank you, Tea), etc. There's even a very pretty, tiny garden. The location was excellent for anyone traveling the tourist route, and parking was easy.
Had a fantastic time at Tea's house. It was big, well located and had all the amenities we needed. I would recommend this house to anyone staying in Philedelphia.
We enjoyed staying at Tea's place for a second time. It was a perfect location for us (as we were attending a Drexel graduation) and Uber was able to whisk us over there quickly, although we walked back and forth 2-3 times across the Spring Garden bridge. A few minor updates would make this a perfect home too - some nicer common area furniture to sit and talk, downstairs bathroom switch broken, etc. But overall the home was very nice for our group. Thank you Tea.
